A one off edition of Friday Night Live tonight at 9-00 pm

Ben Elton presents Friday Night Live

I switched over when Rosie Jones appears, as I do every time she's on TV.

Finished The Walk In last night, superb mini series. Never fail to be impressed by how Stephen Graham can just chuck in maximum emotion whenever he wants.

It's right there! 😃

Although during the unskippable ad breaks you get advertisements for the very program you're in the middle of watching

Clive Sullivan: Rugby League Legend on BBC

Nathan Blake talking about his uncle. Never knew they were related. Amazing RL player and first black captain of GB RL

The achievements of black folk out of that part of South Wales at the time is amazing looking back at it

Watched that last night, really interesting and he was rightly proud of Clive.

Has a road named after him in Hull

Switched clubs between Hull FC and Hull KR so amongst some is unpopular

Not saying the colour of his skin has anything to do with the hate

There’s little hate for him in Hull. He’s revered over there. The fact that the two clubs play for The Clive Sullivan Trophy says a lot

Didnt know til watching the programme that the ball being used in the current World Cup is called The Sully Ball. Fantastic gesture that shows that the RL can actually do some things right

Binned it when it showed 'nazis' headbutting women and children in a library or wherever it was.

Just more of the usual propaganda of the type Goebbels would have been proud of if had been demonising Jewish people.

May have mentioned it previously, not sure , but I’ve bombed all of Curb Your Enthusiasm recently and it is superb.

Larry David is my new hero

Curb is a super programme. Rare you can say all the characters are great.

It’s good but I prefer Seinfeld don’t know if you can get it anywhere now but the Garry Shandling show was along the same lines and that is also brilliant .

You could have warned us that Phil Neville plays the lead part FFS!

Seriously, cheers - enjoying it. The martini raised a smile.

No. Fuck them and all like them.

Doesn't mean however that BS should be willingly swallowed.

I believe it was based on the attack that saw Collins leave the NF that happened in Welling in 1989 when blokes attacked a group of elderly women protesting about the BNP.

The watcher on Netflix. Based on a true story, if so it’s disturbing. Half way through so when will judge at the end.
