Wigan used to sing that tune for him, but instead of But now he's a white it was But now he's alright.

dunno how much Toulouse paid for him but based on his stats since they signed him and struggling to see where they get £1.2M from

I get the impression he's an alright lad too. Taken him a while to settle into the club, system, the nature of the Division, in a position where we've already got two. Some signs though in last few appearances that he's getting there and he does certainly have some skills.

He's not the only one of the summer recruits to have only made a limited impact so far. My only question is, if another position becomes a big priority in Jan, will SS think he can manage with Gale and Tutu?

Well considering the two goals he scored on Tuesday which were both quality composed finishes, if he can do that more often then there’s definitely a place for him here but not at anywhere near the £1.2m they’re supposedly looking for. He’s got the rest of the season to convince but then the danger is that like ACD, he convinces others too.

We seem to have gone from "send him back in January, never a footballer" post-Burton to "sign him permanently and pay a fee" on the strength of 10 minutes of football at home in the BSM Cup.

Keeping him on loan for rest of the season as back up to Gale and Tutu would seem about right to me, nothing against him but I'd still have him as 3rd choice left winger.

As an aside, we've played 6 cup games this season and scored 18 goals.  Just think how many if we'd played our first team 😀
