After another positive result, I wonder if we can sell out as much or if not the whole of the 4.3k allocation, I know our away support is capable. Another positive is that hopefully we got that bad half out of our system and improve for Sheffield

Now we're getting to the business end I'm more gutted than I have been for a while that I can't get to games.

Thought today at 2 down if we got anything we'd ultimately go up.

Big positive momentum builder for next week.  COYWM

this is the  season defining game

lose and  i think we won't make the play offs

draw  we can make the play offs

win     we have  a great chance off going up.

sheff u will win the league by 5-10 points

Much as I sort of agree with you I completely disagree with you.........

Sheff U and Scunthorpe have stopped winning lately. We are a bit up and down but gaining points. Fleetwod keep winning. Our game against them might be crucial

For me the run in from Easter onwards will decide who goes up and who doesn't rather than next weekend

Sheffield are the most reliable team in the league but aren't an outstanding Div 3 team, there were 4 teams better than them the last time we got out of this league. (us Port Vale, Stoke, West Brom)

I fancy it to be a draw, but wouldn't settle for that before the match starts.

If my prediction is correct it will make it 3 months without an away win for BWFC.A team that can't be relied on away from home is going to need help from others ie Scunthorpe and Fleetwood collapsing rather than us blasting them out of sight with 10 wins on the bounce

Sheffield u are getting far too much respect on here. Play like we did 2nd half and we are bringing 3 points back home with us.

We've beaten them twice so far this season so you would think so wouldn't you

They just seem to be a safer bet when it comes to grinding out the points every week

The two home defeats to Charlton & Swindon have been massive. With our away form in mind, winning those home games was vitally important to us going all the way

See I look at different. They haven't really run away from us despite poor form.

It's all to play for.

Wow, going back to the 92-93 season in order to illustrate that Sheff U aren't particularly good in the third tier of the league is stretching a point isn't it? 24 years changes a lot, nothing more than those who played in that season won't be playing now and those that are playing now, by and large, won't even have been born. May I ask, then, what's your point about that particular season not having a great Sheff U team?

3-3 thriller on the cards.

Alex Sabella, Clive Mendonca and Keith Edwards for them.

Peter Nicholson, King Edward and Ed the Duck for us.

Highest crowd of the season in League one of over 30,000 see a fine game.

They were in the Premier League that season.

Nobody said Sheffield United were in the same league as us.

Maybe I'm misreading jturner's post that last time we (Bolton) got out of the 3rd division (92-93) there were four teams better than Sheffield (presumably United but didn't state) Bolton, Port Vale, Stoke and WBA. I reckon that's as close to saying the five teams were all in the same division together otherwise how would you measure the four clubs' ability compared to Sheffield United?
