So now in order to keep that promise Labour need to find a tax to increase to keep within their own promise of no 'uncosted' spending. The obvious one would be to reverse the latest NI cut. So to still do what they wanted to spending wise they face the choice of reversing the NI cut and the Tories labelling them as raising taxes on 'hardworking families' or they keep the spending commitment and the NI cut and they are labelled 'fiscally irresponsible.'
