Its been done to death but the lad was clearly mentality ill and some thought it be best to just leave the lad alone and let him live in his fantasy world online rather confronting him. Folk just took him at face value till it all started to unravel.

I and many others had no idea how deep he was in with it all. 

No idea how Grey kept his cool with the stuff he said about him. Fair play to him, hes a sound guy and like you say was never hounded out. 

Fair enough comments. It was my opinion at the time. Maybe I used the wrong word. But what doesn't change is that he'd properly still be on here if those rumours didn't surface and he had backing from people that actually knew him.

It seems It could have been put to bed early, but wasn't.

You can replace Spider. I have been on here since 2003 and been lambasted, sometimes by moderators, for promoting free speech as an absolute pillar of democracy. A JCL like you wouldn't know that though, would you?

This is just a one off instance where I would have liked to have seen some sort of balance achieved by potting one of the soppy woke left leaners but always knew what would happen. It's the BBC. As left as it gets.

Who actually are all these Right Wingers who've been "cancelled" by the BBC though? Clarkson got away with all sorts of controversies for years, and was only dismissed after he physically assaulted a colleague. Andrew Neil left of his own accord, after turning down the offer of a new show. Can't think of anyone else.
