@Casinofavourite lady, Suella Braverman, is on LBC today.

I've just been listening to her warbling on about how Israel have to continue to defend themselves, and if that involves grabbing more land, then so be it. It also doesn't really matter how many civilians are killed, as whilst it's unfortunate, it's what happens in war

I think she might actually be evil, she's a most unpleasant individual 😉

Her husband is Jewish and close family are in the IDF

This is the scary thing for me. It’s now mainstream to use the sort of language that Nazis would have used to describe Jews to describe Palestinians. ‘Israel has to defend itself’ I think is something just about anyone bar a few far left loons would agree with. But killing kids and stealing land has nothing to do with defence. If people are ok with this language being used it is very very dangerous.

I think your confidence there is misplaced

Nah - I think vast majority would agree. It’s just what they are doing has zero to do with defence.

The refusal to instigate a government inquiry on a matter of such seriousness is a disgrace

Yet again, the victims have been failed by the people in charge

Hark at you paraphrasing Farage.
will be interesting to see if Musk keeps picking at it, when realises it reflects worse on Tories than Starmer

Because her party is also guilty of the same failings and she's trying to score a political point

Why? There has already been an incredibly thorough and robust independent inquiry carried out - it reported to Parliament and government. Why would a government led inquiry be required given an independent one has already been carried out?

It’s the other way around. You don’t want a government led one for the most gold plated report you want independence.

I also note that the last government failed to act on the recommendations from said inquiry so I’d say it’s far more pressing for this government to do that than do a watered down non independent version of what already exists.

She went to see it, and she saw it. She was Home Secretary just over a year ago.

Geography isn’t their strong point though.

They don’t mind that Trump thought Colorado bordered Mexico.

And they abandon “their” country then piss and whine about it from afar.

When you say “their” I gather you mean politicians in general? Our latest foreign secretary, Mr Lammy, recently told commons that Libya was next door to Syria. 🤪
