‘IF’ the Runcorn vote was replicated in a GE now. It won’t of course but both the main parties should be worried.

British citizens should be worried. If you think the country's in a bad state now, Reform would decimate it.

If anything, it goes to show that no one party dominates British politics anymore, at least in percentage of vote share

Things are more fluid than they might dver have been and mainstream parties are increasingly seeming out of touch, the Tories are particularly lost

Has it ever been explained why Greater Lincolnshire and Doncaster need mayors?

We don't, pointless appointment.

Dame Andrea Jenkyns who is a former Johnsonite is now back on the gravy train with Reform.

Our County Councillor is Conservative and you couldn't ask for a better or more hard-working representative. Even Mrs D who is staunch Labour voted for her. She was the only door stepper in the build up spending every weekend doing the rounds.

Result not called yet although the Council has gone massively Reform. I fear for her as it will be a sad loss if she doesn't get through

Time to see if Reform have anything beyond the bullshit and bluster. I suspect not.

While they've been the party for those disillusioned with the others there's been little pressure on them to develop a policy making machine and put some coherent material out.

If this set of results continues as it is, they will suddenly have a lot of people in positions of control but also responsibility in large County Councils, we will see what they are made of and how effective the national steering of them is.

What’s the verdict on turnout?

Are we sticking with democracy or can we piss and whine that x% of each area didn’t even vote for (insert favourite party here)?

Just so we know 😊

We all need to be worried if Reform get in power.

Reforms NHS ambitions are concerning, other than boats I know nothing else they stand for.

Many of their voters only care about one issue.

Tice on the radio is saying Reform will do a DOGE and thinks he can reduce costs massively. I am very sure there is waste at times but just as Musk found out, the savings are nowhere near the claims and can cause major issues.

Summat about boats or summat

We absolutely need to sort the boats.

No question.

But there's usually more to running a country than dinghy prevention.

You’ve probably not looked

Hang on, you can't have it both ways. Either we know what they stand for and should vote for them or not. I have looked at their statements on health, energy and immigration which are major political points and they are light in policy and heavy on rhetoric.

Hang on a minute have you looked about what they stand for or not?
