Seems they've covered all bases. It's what happens when the two main parties alienate their core electorate. I was talking MP's but yeah. Brexit all over again. And that went well eh? 😀 Quote

Red wall areas, staunch labour voters, punting for Reform. Some agricultural/rur areas, formerly Conservative voters, have voted for Reform, some for Lib Dems. Conservatives have lost a huge number of councillors, but from a high base. Labour have lost significant numbers from a low base. Lib dems gained a lot, which often happens at local elections. Labour barely have seat in Lancashire, which has a broad mix of wards. Some huge rethinking required by the traditional big two. This is a small council election but you are absolutely correct. The question is what do the electorate want? I can't help but feel folk are fucked off and are blaming the easiest target. Quote

Heard recently that the northwest is one of, if not the area which has had the most migrants (proportionally) thrust into its towns. A correlation that illustrates the resentment, that has been building and still is. These towns' social issues exacerbated by the situation. It isn't relevant though, as all the people are closet racists, and aren't really concerned about their society! Quote

Again, you're inferring racism above all other concerns. Like watching the titanic listing whilst Starmer and Badenoch (Rishi probably more appropriate) stand there shouting at passengers "don't worry, it won't sink". Quote

What practical measures have Reform put forward to deal with situation? 'Cos as far as I can tell, it adds up to the square root of fuck all at the moment Quote

Spider Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 A lot of the reform folk are big on social media. Real heavyweights posting 30/40 times a day. I wonder how they’ll take to loads of dull meetings in dusty school halls deciding how best to spend a few thousand quid on clearing weeds and litter from local footpaths they’ve never set foot on? Boredom will kill reform before anything else i reckon. Quote

Or the independents in Burnley with their sectarian beliefs? Your post is ignorant, dismissive and precisely the reason why a new party is succeeding. Huge swathes of the former red wall have reacted to such accusations once and have done so again. Well done on keeping up the blind rhetoric, and ensuring the red (and blue) groups disappear down the gurgler. Yet it's everyone else who is thick. 🤔 No. Just thick, racist, Islamophobes. They're all over X and Facebook, celebrating the 'success' of the Frog faced c*nt and his collection of numpties, Gammons and little Englanders. Protest votes are one thing. They'll be back to the usual laughing stock by the next general election. Quote

I’ll express mine. You are talking utter shite. You are the problem. The problem being that people like you talk utter shite that allows the extremes to grow. I have a theory. Everytime someone uses the word Gammon or similar, it creates two Gammons. Wake up. Quote
