What difference does that make?

I know he's not covered himself in glory but many the things reported have happened

there's always KAs side of the story but he has his own platform and to be honest his version of events are often questionable and/or vague as well

The players still haven't been paid, is Iles meant to sit and wait till they have then do a round up of events based on the chairman's notes?

I agree with tomski. Whilst the players havent been great they Are still entitled to their wages. If not be working if I didbt get them certainly after missing a second promised date. Firmly in he players camp. Get it sorted ken or get th at asking dropped totally through the floor and get out. If I can't afford my mortgage I have to sell my house for less than market value

To be honest the players have been quite dignified over all this. Apparently no one has suggested walking but I wouldn't knock any that did. I think you are being a tad unfair

It comes down to him not doing any research

Time and time again, he's jumped the gun

If the cnut uses the term winder again, I swear I'm going to scream

Especially when he talks about Winders Court FFS - maybe though the imbecile thinks thats the right terminology??

No.  He's meant to do a bit of journalism.  He contacts the club and says we have heard XYZ from a source and we are running the story, can we take a statement.

He then produces a proper article or he's told to fuck off and he puts the clubs refused to comment.

The article ends:

Wanderers were contacted earlier today for comment

He’s meant to do whatever his boss tells him to do, which presumably would include winding his neck in on Twitter. As it is, going after Ken seems to sit comfortably with the BN, who will get more clicks for their advert-riddled site off the back of all the negativity.

I’d say that most of what Iles has written in the last month actually is a round-up of events based on the chairman’s notes, just with a ever-so-slightly different slant.

I’d say any money going in Friday morning will be topped up on Monday with the Leeds gate receipts.

People really do need to have a read up on what company owners are liable for and how much companies such as ours lose on a weekly basis.

I am pleased the players will get paid on Friday but let us not think Ken is paying out of the goodness of his own heart.  He will take it back out when cash flow allows and he is paying the players on Friday as otherwise players would be able to walk away from their contract. I hope Ken now reduces his asking price to sell the club and re-doubles his efforts to find a suitable buyer.

This is what I don't understand

Anyone who will pay £15million (which I think is your suggested price) is suitable as far as you're concerned?

This same buyer would have baulked at the £25million asking price you say is still on the table (no actual proof)?

This would suggest to me that we are not dealing with the exceptionally wealthy parties everyone seems to imagine are sniffing around the club.

No-one buys a football club to make money or because it's a sound business acquistion. If you don't beleive me, try asking Ken Anderson. I expect he will agree.

The reality is that this would be like buying a fiver for a tenner. It's senseless. We need maniacs, not savvy business types.

you have to wonder why he bought it then - it certainly wasn't so he could pay the players out of his own pocket

to be fair, he did take the money out the club to buy it in the first place, but now it looks like his decision to take it on is really catching up with him

not that anyone else was willing

Do we honestly think he's not trying?

It's his sole objective

And it sort of suggests he could have done this 2 weeks ago and avoided all this or am I missing something?
