Tell you what would be fun

There's over 1,000 lorry drivers all sharing facilities down in Kent.

All going to be tested.

Imagine if half of them are infected.

Let's be honest, it would hardly be a surprise.

They should just throw a load of prostitutes in there for them to murder.

Be like feeding time in a shark tank.

I think there are cunts everywhere pal who believe they are above the law. Some rich some poor and some in between.  It’s one reason why we are here today in this shite

I try not to antagonize as there are a couple of folk who im Really worried about on here and I don’t want to tip them over the edge from Bed wetting to something more serious.

aye, maybe not strict enough?  but, looking at cases  yesterday:

Spain cases - 11,815 and going down
Italy cases - 10,869 and going down
UK cases - 33,364 and rising

no perfect formula, but ours has been one of the worst so far, whilst everyone for one reason (death) or another (economy) think we've had it tough

No lockdown in most of Spain since the first lockdown, take today I’ve been shopping, had lunch outside, then a Starbucks, only social distancing, masks & hand wash,  other than that life going on as normal.

P.S. I think schools and unis have remained closed here, perhaps that’s the difference, oh and on all shopping malls 100% obedience to face masks.

Leave the UK alone you massive traitor.

Sat there, all pompous, giving it the big one about Spain being superior to us.

Get back to your copy of the Daily Expat and leave us to sort this shit out without your help

Spain had more localised 'lockdowns', iirc Madrid had more stringent measures applied a while back.

Not sure it will be totally necessary to lockdown Cornwall here for example, should it arise. Guess we'll see.

Agree 100%. Utterly draconian what’s going on in the U.K.

Spain has 11pm curfews, and educational shutdowns.

To describe it as normal is what anyone who doesn't live there would say.

You see what you want to see.

My sister lives there and describes it as "fucking awful".

Bear in mind, Spaniards prefer to go out after 11pm when all the giddy Brits have started to piss their pants.

It's probably like Tier 2 where Mounts is. With British people hiding smug grins under their union jack masks.

Think I'd rather be here.

Don’t worry I’m flying the flag with my UJ boxers string vest & a pint of good old English ale.

Snitches get stitches

Once a month I hear them kicking off, his phone has landed in my garden more than once and they’ve come round to get it back “ they were playing a game”

He’s gonna iron her out one of These days

How many are we testing each day now? - obviously it's a large number, but what is it of a percentage of the people that we're testing I wonder, and I wonder what percentage of that number is the new strain of the virus (I'm not expecting we'd know that detail very quickly, as I presume that needs further laboratory investigation)

I leave stuff like that to @birch-chorley

All have done better than we have, by a long chalk

But then again, they all got on top of it before it was a problem

Had any of those countries found themselves in our position, I doubt any of those countries would accept a double digit GDP decline, they would in all likelihood balance the economic damage with an acceptable number of deaths

Even if we opened up fully now, we wouldn’t end up on more than 100k deaths, given we have a vaccine that’s started to be rolled out. This whole thing was about stopping the NHS being overrun first and foremost. 15m get vaccinated and 99% of that risk is done. The most vulnerable 5m get vaccinated and 50% of that risk has gone, should be there by end of January (I hope)

Anyone who thinks we will shut things down until Easter (inc building sites, manufacturing, schools etc) is a complete moon man

We will manage an acceptable number of deaths whilst stoping the NHS from being overrun

I'd bet decent money that 36804 people aren't all self-isolating after those results.

It has to start there

Draw a line and start tagging the cunts. Anyone outside the household goes to a holding centre.
