So other shops and some schhol classes, to open but not before june 1

Go to work if you cant do it at home

This one, though

His instruction could be understood to say trot off to the park and so long as you stay 2m from somebody who doesnt live in your house you're reet

Key word is exercising. Stay there all day run round all day. Sit down and rest nah

again not difficult to understand. It’s not like a post from @e2e4 it’s really not difficult.  But people will want to make noise about how confusing it because people want to complain. It’s entrenched deeply

That’s what he said

Probably more in detail to come, I’d have thought

I need clarity.

I mean absolute fucking crystal clear.

Because I now have to organise child care for the next 8 weeks that was never part of the plan.

So maybe I’m being a bit thick, but I’ve no room for ambiguity

Probably more detail to come over the next or two

Did you watch it?

im pretty sure he would love  to give clarity on a number of things.
But they don’t know the answers yet. It’s really that simple.
So the clarity you desire and need there is nobody can give it. not boris not krankie nobody. So schools remain closed until such time as they tell us otherwise.

Well, we seem pretty much in agreement, let’s hope that is reflected around the country and we can be in a much better place come the end of June.

It is in the hands of the people.

He said there’s a 50 page document with the detail.

That’s to be published Wednesday I heard earlier.

Half of the people watching that, only tuned in then to find out when the pubs were opening let’s be honest

I’ll wait for the details

Im glad I can get the wheels of work turning a week tomorrow.

Social distancing, well only a simpleton would misunderstand that instruction.

I’m just keen to get clarity with the kids

I've noticed that whilst this has been going on the pro-government backers have usually understood these announcements, whilst the Tory bashers always claim that the information given isn't clear.....

Anyway, pubs are opening in July......

All seems sensible enough  to me.

He’s still a fucking Billy Bunter twat though. 😀

The only bit that seemed a bit wrongly done was the "you can even play sports....but only with members of your own family". "Play sports" implies a bit more than just chucking a frisbee round with the kids. Wasn't a necessary thing to add in to be honest. Or at least phrase it differently. Starting the sentence with "you can even play sports" was not the cleverest, even though I know exactly what he meant.

So he has said some things can change now but really are probably happening anyway.

Everything else will only happen when the r rate drops. He has detailed what things might happen first.

Other than saying unlimited exercise and then mention go to park to sit out. Think it was all it could be.

It is in the hands of the people.

Absolutely. It was there throughout.

Lots of qualification with "ifs" around meeting the tests and the R value.

Was also good to see fines being raised- though a number of heavily publicised examples of police actually giving them out wouldn't go amiss.

If there's one thing that's been missing is folk being fined and shamed more readily to show the cunts that doing your own thing isn't acceptable.

I've got a 2 year old out of nursery and a 6 year old in year 2.

I'm trying to wfh and the Mrs was furloughed after 3 weeks of us both attempting to wfh.

Been pinning my hopes on primary schools on 1st June and that being dashed for my lad has proper sent us under. The Mrs is in absolute bits.

Fucking no way I can hack this set up til September.

He definitely said sunbathing was allowed.

Masses of detail to work through, but it seemed broadly fine to me. Bit weird that it wasn't clearly set out whether you can now go and visit friends and family (from 2m away) though. Would've thought, alongside work and schools, that that'd be the key bit of info.

The alert level scaling idea is a good one. Clear messaging, easy enough to understand, and similar to what we're using to seeing with terrorism threat levels and weather warnings and the like.

As someome who is still using public transport on a daily basis, my main concern is that the encouragement back to work of people who can't work from home will be taken advantage of and we'll begin to see a lot more people on the trains. Hopefully that doesn't come to pass.

I'll be interested to know what they've increased fines to. Fingers crossed it's an amount that helps concentrate minds.

I have to say I missed that bit then. If he has said that it’s fucking stupid.

I think the friends and family thing is huge and I’m surprised it wasn’t mentioned. But rather than “confuse” people he’s chose to say nothing.

this document will be key and we can have a read when it’s out this week

and then Some folk can say how confusing it is.

Get the snip pal.

Most peaceful afternoon I've had in 6 years when I had it done. Even with an injection into the ball!

I think Reception is technically the first year of primary school, so I'd take it that your 4-year-old will be going back all things being well.

My missus has already had two of her mates on asking if this means we can have a BBQ next weekend.
