It seems a suspiciously high number to me considering they’re back to exactly where they were 12 months ago. Even then, 20 full-time staff is a huge percentage of an operation of their size.

I got abused by a load of Tranmere fans on the train on the way to their cup final at our place so fuck the lot of them. They weren't so noisy on the way home though 😄

Surely the club going up to replace them will make a similar amount of jobs? It's all emotive victim stuff. I don't want anyone being made unemployed but they were in the bottom 3, they can't be allowed to stay up because they haven't planned properly for going down. I'd have thought the jobs are more down to the pandemic. Tranmere fans have embarrassed themselves on Twitter

My lad was mascot for their game at our place.

I’m 100% if that hadn’t have been the case we wouldn’t have beaten them that day, the way he ran on the grass before the game altered the way the ball bounced and changed the course of the game.

My son relegated Tranmere.

You all owe me pints. He’ll have a rollover hotdog (without butter)

I think they’re being very creative with it. We’ve had a bigger financial drop than anyone, going from Premier League to being in League One (and minus the parachute) and didn’t come our with any of this. The drop between League One and League Two is probably the smallest of the lot, and likewise the rise between the two is never enough to be generating 20 full-time jobs. The odd couple of match day turnstile ops, litter picker and burger flipper can all go and work at the expanded Anfield.

Palios now on about suing the EFL

It's the logical conclusion

This place would've been in meltdown if we had been relegated on those terms

Not to say they will ever bring a case, let alone win it, but I'm pretty confident Palios is more clued up than the losers at the EFL

It’s not logical at all. The league relegated us before a ball was kicked. At least Tranmere had a chance. They were so bad against us they should be asked to leave the league system again

The league had a set of rules and we broke them and were penalised

The league didnt have anything in place for what has gone on and made stuff up

Im not saying palios will win, but id be fuming if i was him

Us and southend were goners

They still had every chance

Anyway, im happy enough they are down, but it doesnt mean i have to think its fair

Tranmere are exactly where they belong. I'm sure they're secretly enjoying wallowing in a simmering sense of victimhood but they're below the sale basement division fodder with one decade of glory (the 90s). Fuck em.
