Plenty of hard work, some good play and some great chances. There's been plenty of days to have a pop at the side but today isn't one of them for me. Like brexit this: two polar opposite views! Frustrating though, as even if we have played ok, we don't score enough goals during the periods of superiority. Might go and twat some fucker's snowman. After that we were all over them because they sat back ill bet their manager doesn't let that happen again.

He just made a high volume of saves in a short spell for me I don't know - I think they were all decent enough efforts from what I remember? Can't see Ian Evatt changing a system he clearly believes in. But I genuinely still think we're just a couple of good signings away from being a very good team in this division. 1969
This is now where we will see if Evatt is a good manager. We will not be getting promoted but he has now free reign as to who we sign (albeit frees)If we don't see a marked improvement for the rest of the season I think we should get rid

I think we have a very serious problem with mentality That aside, I think that we have some that could be v good at this level and some really not good. Unless all else is spot on, you're limiting factor is your worst player(s) Despite what @JimmyRiddle said, IMO Doyle was v good today again, but he needs help, he's forcing it too much. In phase play and in final 3rd. We aren't far off being good at this level but we also won't just get there unless there are major personnel changes AND Evatt starts to show he's learning from our losses and starts to evolve. I've been convinced both will happen, but I fear for us now unfortunately.

paulhanley
Six points above the bottom two makes me nervy. Maybe its the fact we've been involved in relegation struggles more often than not, maybe its seeing just how poor we can be. But I will be happier once we have a few more points on the board. I'm certainly not thinking about heady things like the play offs.
