Much the better of the two sides. Plenty of hard work, some good play and some great chances.

There's been plenty of days to have a pop at the side but today isn't one of them for me.

Like brexit this: two polar opposite views!

Frustrating though, as even if we have played ok, we don't score enough goals during the periods of superiority.

Might go and twat some fucker's snowman. :)

They may have shaded the first 75 minutes

Rest of it, they didn't have a kick

You can say the job was done, I suppose

They definitely weren't clearly better

I thought they were miles better than us for 75 minutes better running with the ball, better movement off the ball, better touch, better at set pieces...

After that we were all over them because they sat back ill bet their manager doesn't let that happen again.

In fairness, if the keeper lets any of them in, they'd be very disappointed. He just made a high volume of saves in a short spell for me

I don't know - I think they were all decent enough efforts from what I remember?

Can't see Ian Evatt changing a system he clearly believes in. But I genuinely still think we're just a couple of good signings away from being a very good team in this division.

21 games in, no visible improvement and we are closer to relegation than the playoffs. Changes are needed and it has to begin the manager

It will start with the players

Unlucky for you

Delf from 8 yards

Doyle from 12

Doyle header

Any one of them could/should go in

On another day we could have scored five, it’s a fine line between success n failure, a few new faces will see us right, of that I’m certain

Greenidge played ok and was shagged then got clumsy imo

Prob should've swapped him for delaney or taft but even shagged he's probably quicker than those 2

Greenidge was better than recent Delaney

By far

Agree with all of those comments

No oompf for 3/4 of the game is the biggest reason

Formation or not the Manager needs to shoulder some blame for the:

  • Shit mentality
  • Laboured attacking
  • RB as LWB
  • Huge lack of urgency for long periods again
  • January and we go forward like strangers
  • Captain doing fuck all

And more

But for balance, IE does have to shoulder the responsibility for some of the above

No visible improvement????

Christ were you watching at the start of the season?

Football fans are bloody daft nowadays. No success after 4 months and people are  calling for the managers head.

Just find it totally bonkers.

This is now where we will see if Evatt is a good manager. We will not be getting promoted but he has now free reign as to who we sign (albeit frees)If we don't see a marked improvement for the rest of the season I think we should get rid

I think we have a very serious problem with mentality

That aside, I think that we have some that could be v good at this level and some really not good. Unless all else is spot on, you're limiting factor is your worst player(s)

Despite what @JimmyRiddle said, IMO Doyle was v good today again, but he needs help, he's forcing it too much. In phase play and in final 3rd.

We aren't far off being good at this level but we also won't just get there unless there are major personnel changes AND Evatt starts to show he's learning from our losses and starts to evolve.

I've been convinced both will happen, but I fear for us now unfortunately.

Six points above the bottom two makes me nervy. Maybe its the fact we've been involved in relegation struggles more often than not, maybe its seeing just how poor we can be. But I will be happier once we have a few more points on the board. I'm certainly not thinking about heady things like the play offs.
