Never a fan of players being rested to avoid  bookings

Get in there do the job early make the subs

Id feel comfortable with most of them missing a game against Wigan or Plymouth but not all 3 for one game

MJ would be a huge miss

Agreed. Sheff Wed is more important than Wigan. Like next week wigan will be more important than the game after that.

I think we might see Lee or Tutte but I’d definitely say so. He’s pivotal

edit- didn’t know Tutte was injured

So yeah definitely 😁

I quite like Sheff Weds, stems back from 1983 (I think, maybe 82 ?), when we played them at Burnden on a Tues / Weds night and they brought loads, I think it was August / Sept as it was quite warm & in daylight - I remember walking down Manny Road as a 16/17 year old seeing their fans who had just come in on their special trains escorted down to the ground, one of largest escorts I'd seen it went on for ages loads of lads, several with mohicans at the front.

Amazing what sticks in your mind from years gone by.

Think that was 1980. Jack Charlton manager. Took my current wife for the first time. Her next was the Worthington cup final in 1995.

Current wife? You planning on getting another? 😃

I remember playing then at Burden and them wearing our away kit.

Good luck to the lads who have set off from the ground to walk to Sheffield this morning to raise money for Gethin Jones mams charity and raising money for a mini bus for the rememberance group

Two great lads who have both mellowed over the years, I see Joe every time we go to Albania or Montenegro, I see Andy at the Remembrance Group Drop Ins on Thursday mornings at the Vulcan and at the various Do's there has been, a really good cause they are supporting

Was just going to post same. Chris Waddle in a Wanderers top. It was before names on back so not really any collector value.

It’s a Wogan thing.😊

Remember them in our away kit due to a colour clash. Chris Waddle was playing for them then.

Ah!

I have heard a bloke refer to his wife as the 'current incumbent'.
