The game itself was badly affected by the wind & though we created some half chances, we never reached the heights of the last 2 games. Gethin Jones is a big miss both defensively & going forward.....Fossey wasn't as effective without him. But the fun & games......can't comment on the penalty or sending off, too far away, but a great save from Young Trafford, all sorts of rowing going on around our dugout which led to the walk off, a one man pitch invasion, their keeper acting the cunt but then running crying to the ref because an empty plastic bottle landed near him, a bit of fisticuffs in the side terrace.......& then , whoop,whoop, our late equaliser followed by a bigger pitch invasion & huge celebrations. Weather definitely the biggest factor for our poor performance.Morecambe probably used to playing in those conditions and have a style more suited to it. We weren't great but don't think either team deserved to lose. Draw a fair result. If it had been a pleasant summer's day I'm sure we'd have made it a much better contest, with or without Jones.
