I’m with you on this one. I understand why they decided to bat because of the conditions and pitch but ‘Gary’ loves bowling on the last day.

Any chance Australia will declare “too soon”? No way, mate.

Not looking like the best decision at the moment

Based on the conditions it was exactly the right decision.

Aussies would have done the same.

England would have been out already.

Outclassed - Simples.

Sadly seems its one series to far for Jimmy.

These pitches don't suit him, but he's the only one not going for 4+ an over.

If he doesnt start picking up wickets it might be during the Ashes.

I'd not be surprised if this was his last game for England.

Probably on my own but cricket is so boring

You're not on your own.

But it's a strange thread to be visiting.

Good response so far from the team.

Reckon the new seamer could go places if he stays fit and continues to develop.

We seem to lose wickets when there is no pressure.

4th stumping of series , do we need to push so hard v Lyon when runs flowing at other end ?

Indeed.

No need to play that shot, especially in the situation.

Much better today though.

Just no need

I know Stokes admitted in his speech that he wasn't the most intellectual chap, but fuckinell you'd be miffed if your club colleague showed such a lack of thought and care.

The players are perfectly capable of beating this Australia team in terms of ability, but just apply the noggin!

Just had a feeling Duckett wouldn't make the ton since the Aussies switched to short ball stuff. TBF it's a really good tactic against Bazball.

Couple more wickets and we're right in it but hopefully Root and Brook can build an innings rather than swing their way into trouble.
