  • Ricketts was the best striker in the country for a short spell. Absolute powerhouse that beasted the worlds best defenders after smashing the championship to pieces. As much as I like Bakayoko, t

Said today can see us scoring 100 goals a bit like the Colin Todd season

Mcginlay n Blake unreal that season but who was back up? Scott Taylor and AN.Other? Reckon we're stronger all round now although aforementioned are big heros from yoof days

Well that's was proper ace

Outstanding team performance

I would actually say that it was better than the Sunderland win

Anyone notice all the new signage above the turnstiles

It's the little bits

Evert was giving Wycombe’s LB, Obita, a right load of shit every time he took a throw near our bench. Not sure if it was previous history or something happened today but Obita seemed a bit rattled.

Don't reckon we'll be 7/5 much at home rest of season. ...

I gave my lad my phone in the hotel and told him to do a couple of £5 accumulators.
One ducked because Burnley are wankers, the other won me £96.

If I was being overly critical, Dapo had a spell second half where you could see he was desperate for a goal and trying to force it a little bit when maybe others were better positioned if he got his head up. However, to throw him in to the mix up top when we’ve already got Charles, Bod, Baka and Kachunga brings a massive variety that teams really can’t deal with, and once he gets a goal you can really sense that they will start flooding in. Dapo also did well not to react when Wycombe resorted to trying to kick him about a bit.

Morley and Dempsey were both superb and I think having Williams behind them gives them bit of extra licence to push forward, which I suppose ties in to Dapo’s change of role too.

For the first goal I really can’t remember the last time we had the ball in a fairly innocuous position and yet I was absolutely convinced a goal was on its way. Bradley was outstanding and reminds me a little bit of Stephen Warnock (which I do intend as a compliment, honest).

Thought Iredale started a little tentatively going forward but really grew in to it and DJ has finally got some serious competition on his hands.

Great crowd and support, and well done BWFC for the little changes. Painting the concrete has made such a world of difference that I’m amazed it’s taken 25 years for someone to think of it!

Hope we give Stretford B an absolute shoeing on Tuesday and then roll on Vale.

A pleasure to attend 👍

How's it looking?

Anyway, Chinese for me. Might eat it in the m-i-ls garden as three nieces will be screeching loudly.

It’s looking good. Need to speak to you about some more work.

The blue painting of the concrete walls for the staircases look good but they forgot the upper west. Sort it out Sharon.😊

In fairness the ground has had a lick of paint and does smell like it did in 97/98.

But couldn’t hear the PA in ESU

Brilliant performance could easily have been 5/6, good scran in the fanzone but left after one because of the queue. Stadium looking better but PA system wasn’t working at all in the ESU.

Bizarrely I thought iredale was poor defensively. Didn’t win a header all day and didn’t block enough crosses.
His best part was going forward.

Considering he was brought in to shore things up instead of Declan John I’m not so sure.

Great win with the added bonus of meeting Boby Brno, Little Whitt, Anewman, Smiley, Bowtun Baked and a few others my brain is currently too fried to remember. I'll be better when the fog has cleared tomorrow.

Superb win.

Glad you got a win

There was definitely one where he had Baka on his left and Bradley to his right, both of which would have had a clean path to goal, but we were two up and you can see he wants the ball and wants the goals.  If it was 0-0 or we are losing I think he makes different choices.

In the striker role he is really causing teams problems,  he drifts all over the shop, deep, to the right to the left through the middle and teams are having to commit players to track him. He is creating space all over and as he is up top he isn't impacting our shape as much when he does it

He just has the right attitude and looks to be loving his time here.

He was no better or worse than DJ defensively, but thought he was slightly better going forward than DJ has been recently.  Good competition for that spot and hopefully they will push each other on

Great tribute to Syd Farrimond by the way. I remember his clearance against Liverpool in the League cup (which we won 3-2 in 1967) that hit the facia of the Manchester Road stand and a lump of wood fell and hit a fan.
We’ve just hammered Liverpool,  Do dah, do dah.
One for the older fans.😊

Ace.   Wycombe weren't bad, had their moments & will probably finish top 6, but we outplayed them & could easily have won by more.

No bad performances.....i'd normally pick Bod ahead of Baka & he was clumsy at times but also had some lovely touches, the best i've seen him play......early days but today Iredale looked a better defender than John & very decent going forward......on today, Bradley is a better defender than Fossey, just as good going forward & a better all round footballer

.....& MOTM Dempsey, not just for his goals ( he should have had a hat trick ) but a highly effective terrier all over the pitch.

EIEIEIO  (too soon ?? )

Dempsey & Morley should be starters every week

Massive statement that today.  Great performance
