  1. I’m just going to let the players know first then I’ll let you guys know. It’s only fair
  2. "what that bloke I like said is wrong, but what's fucking outrageous is that that bloke I don't like hasn't said it's a disgrace" is about the weirdest stance I've ever seen, even on this bat shit side of the forum.
  3. It's been great this week watching some actual bona-fide real life and proper politicians and diplomats talk away from the cesspit UK politics. No hyperbole, no sensationalism, no shit slinging, insults and point scoring. No toffs quaffing and wailing at eachother in the commons or tabloid hysteria. Just proper leaders and diplomats talking passionately with common fucking sense and intellectual thinking. From Rutte, Carney and even Newsome from across the pond it's been brilliant and quite frankly refreshing. Maybe all isn't lost after all.
  4. Historian Oliver Kornetzke...... "Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul — all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been — arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul—it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader."
  5. To be fair, the government did through statements and cabinet MPs. I would prefer a proper thought out statement for the press and the plebs after the diplomatic shit storm has been sorted behind the scenes. You know, the UK has always been good at this kind of thing. It's just all been blown up with Trump and his Temu Twitter and the likes of Farage, Lowe and Robinson using social media to spread shit and insist on instant reactions to everything. If anyone else from any other party was PM I would expect the same, not some half arsed social media post made just to keep up with the Jones'. Except Farage of course just to keep the deflection game going a little longer for shits and giggles.

Can only hope he has a maghoma like after Christmas renaissance…personally I’d cut my losses and send him packing.
  8. With any luck that’s a blood clot on the back of his hand that’s planning on heading towards his fucking brain
  9. Did anyone see Emily Thornbury on QT representing the Govt last night. Pretty clear response.

Could sign Haaland and it'd do nothing if we don't getting some decent balls in.
  11. And that’s it. Our performances haven’t warranted all the hype about promotion- that was just a statement of intent at the beginning of the season which hasn’t been backed up even though we’re somehow still in with a chance of the playoffs. We were “close but no cigar” under Evatt and it’s looking very much like more of the same under Schumacher unless there’s a radical shift in ruthlessness in our forward line and overall performance. And we said exactly that when Evatt was in charge. Just goes to show how much bullshit about players and managers has passed under the bridge. Somehow Schumacher has to start getting a tune out of this squad and it needs to start now - and maybe we’ll find a way.
  12. Accept there are different views on this but we're a team that currently struggles to score 2 in a game. Being more open and giving one away will make for another long afternoon of shithousing and weak refereeing. Nullify any attacking threat and their top scorer, keep the back door shut and, when the chance arises to win 1-0, for fuck's sake take it. If we've to grind out a few wins like that, while we hopefully get in a bit more goal power, so be it
  13. I know we’re at home so it’s different, but I’m not sure how I feel about changing a defence that has kept 2 clean sheets in a row - especially by removing the player that seems to be the one that’s firmed it up! On the other hand, our home record says you don’t change anything - it’s working just fine. 2-1 McAtee and Dempsey
  14. Oh and maybe the world is starting to wake up about that cunt Trump. You know the jobs fucked when the poppy shaggers turn.
  15. Things have gone very strange today on here, it's like Pulp Fiction where scenes are swapped about in the timeline. Anyway all is good, everyone thinks Trump is a cunt. Except Farage of course 😁

    Must be AI. No stepovers
  17. Gwaaaan Keir lad. Finish the week by popping Humpty Trumpty back in your pocket.
  18. If Reform voters genuinely believe Farage's US model will improve their standard of living, then they deserve every accusation thrown at them in my opinion
  19. Big Gav's got him in a right pickle
  20. Well, he's now belatedly issued a statement I'd have thought it'd have been a basic expectation of a PM to publicly defend the record of our armed forces against Trump's disgraceful insult really I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise
  21. Imagine being so enamoured by Donald Trump that you'd do everything in your power to divert criticism of him towards someone else, even after he's just spat on the graves of your dead colleagues and friends. Absolutely mind boggling.

I suspect there has been some unrest around the camp and with a few going out this has probably helped to sort it out. We need a settled team, not the bingo machine. A couple wins under our belt again and we'll be flying. Suppose we've been saying that all season though... I'm still far from convinced that the change in 'system' was/is the answer. We had a lot of the ball at Wigan and Stevenage but hardly looked that threatening passing it around in our own half. I'd like to see three in the middle without the '10' with the two wingers both on their natural sides. Dubbery and Gale have pace to burn. The ball needs to go through the lines forward and quicker with early balls coming in to the box. It really isn't that difficult. We seem content to fuck around it with it at the back almost playing our way into trouble half the time.
  23. Misunderstood your post. Thought you weee wanting Trump to backtrack. You’re right, I’d love Starmer to tell him to get fucked.

If that's true, get it done today - in the squad for tomorrow.
  25. Evatt ball was constructed around "best players in the league" but became slow, dreary and without a backbone. And that sums up 90% of our games this season.

In the Stevenage thread you said you wanted Jatta or Kenny. You also mention if the club had backed SS with 500k to get him we might not be struggling for goals, and elsewhere that 1 million for him would have been a statement signing
  27. It’s actual US policy to push for a reform government. Via their social media and tech companies they’ll try and interfere with our elections. Anything’s possible with a bot farm, unregulated AI and a despot

No i wanted Jatta from Notts County. I may have said if he was the clubs main Target they should pay the extra to get him I had no clue who Johnny Kenny was. Forwards are hit and miss Ballard was shite last year at Blackpool, this season he is setting this league on fire at Orient. Taylor was player of the season at Wigan yet is doing nothing this season at Blackpool. Fletcher cannot stop scoring but in the past he has been poor. Not many forwards do it year on year so whoever we sign it will be a big gamble
  29. I was at that game where Reevsey scored in the 89th minute , It was celebrated like wed just won the cup , utter bedlam . Orient with the most anti-football , park the bus , boot and run performance you will ever see .
  30. Chemical castration, twenty years and then deportation......he'll probably get 3 years

    Aaron is that you? 🤣
  32. Would assume Erhahon however Simons could drop in and Dempsey could play the more advanced role which he’s probably more suited too than Simons..

Absolutely. Ignore the obvious because it's a "little club". They may slip up, but so far it's us and Huddersfield that have been inconsistent, despite pre/early season thoughts by many. What is more, its no good if we don't improve to close the gap should they slip up.

  35. Trump says he's honoured that "they" invited him to be chairman of his board of peace. He's so fucking fake. Anyway, look forward to him inviting himself to be chairman of the newly formed boards of Truth, Love, and Plenty.
  36. I’m annoyed that they recalled Sam Curran. Played well for the Sixers. Did nowt yesterday. Play off tonight at the SCG against Hobart. They will miss him. Chris Jordon 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 playing for the opposition. Come on Steve Smith and Mitch Starc 🇦🇺 😊
  37. Relax ! 19 games to go , weve done this loads of times , put an unreal late run in Under Neal , Rioch, Allardyce and Evatt (cant remember the run in under Parky for some reason ) The weather gets warmer , the pitches get better , our silky skills come to the fore and we romp home in style . Easy . The team is almost going to pick itself finally and we are going up , unless we somehow get Barnsley in the play-offs .
  38. Yep, we use that Seniors sometimes for our takeaway, bit nearer to home, Bellamy's if we've been in Blackpool. Advantage of that one is a swift pint in Cask, the microbar a few doors up 🍺
  39. If they support him, they won't care. It's a cult and he's the cult leader. They'd sacrifice their family for him. It's so fucking weird. There'll be US veterans who served, who know and will still just say "Yeah I was there and he's right" because they MUST support whatever he says
  40. Would be a terrible decision to get rid of Morley. Set pieces and crossing are our 2 big weaknesses, and they're what hes best at in our current squad. Over the years the home games when we struggled against a low block him coming on late for those reasons were a massive bonus. I would never start him but for the sake of 250k and about 5k a week we should try to keep him just for the impact sub ability when something different is needed.
  41. Thats proper "undisclosed", wonder what fee was?

Does anyone know if the bus timetable has been adjusted ? Late kick offs on a Saturday are a real pain.
  43. Autos? It’s a bit premature to even think about that possibility doncha reckon? Without a substantial improvement we’re struggling to stay in the playoffs with about ten other teams who think they’re in with a chance. I think I’d rather wait to see what happens for a while longer before entertaining that thought.
  44. Bless. Christmas determined that we are no longer in 'the chase for the autos'.
  45. Fail to win either this one or Burton and that would feel like a real blow in the chase for autos. Hopefully 6 points and a couple of new faces in next week will give us a real boost of momentum heading into the Wimbledon game next weekend.
  46. We're supplying certain components to one drone manufacturer (not in Ukraine) who are expecting to ramp to c50K drones per month within a month or two, and that's just one company, they're not even the largest in the market. It's fucking huge business now. Long may it continue 😏
  47. Thought I'd posted on here... Another recommendation for Shaun @ MJS - had a new electric roller fitted and my old one taken away in September - Great job, well fitted.
