  1. "Calm down lad, it's just a forum. If AI posts trigger you this badly you might want to go outside for a bit. Some of us just like writing better than the average keyboard warrior rant. Up the Whites." Alternative versions depending on your vibe: More savage: "Jesus Christ mate, who hurt you? It's a Bolton forum not a cry for help. I'll let the AI know you think it's a 'sad cunt' though, might hurt its feelings." Self-aware / trollish: "Guilty as charged. The AI even told me you'd have a meltdown over this. It's 2-0 to the robots already." Short and dismissive: "AI wrote this too. Seethe more." Nuclear option (only if you want war): "Imagine getting this pressed because someone uses better tools than your two brain cells and predictive text. Touch grass, king." General advice: Don't over-explain or defend yourself. These types feed on justification. One good reply is enough — then just leave it. Winning is looking unbothered while they stay mad. Football forums run on banter. Owning the "weirdo" label with humour usually makes them look more unhinged than you. Pick whichever matches your style and post it. The key is staying amused rather than offended.

Dalby is better than Nombe. If we are bringing in a forward I'd want our sights to be much higher than him.
  3. This legacy? Anyway, went for Imperium. 1st in a trilogy.😉
  4. Fund them properly then you prick.

You mean "these are the reasons ChatGPT wouldn't sign him"....
  6. Yes I agree that more respect needs to be shown by Brits abroad (you could say that for most nationalities) but I think there’s a difference between going somewhere on holiday and coming over here and living off our benefit system
  7. Worth watching this if anyone is on X. We’ve intercepted a Russian tanker in the channel this morning as well.

Just watched Embrace at Piece Hall. Cathartic.

No question he was in a shit team last season but to be fair he was injured for a good part of it. I don’t have a bias towards South Yorks teams but living here and watching them more frequently than most it could I suppose be seen that way. I think you’re wrong about Nombe and the Championship because that’s where I believe he’ll be next season either with us or elsewhere because he certainly won’t be at the New York.

She sounds like an ordinary nice lass made good to me?
  11. Nombe is another who's developed mythical status window by window, another Cole Stockton. The answer to everybody's striking problems without actually being that good.

The big window that blinds players as the sun shines right through it as for some reason they built it east to west.

    2 great kits here
  14. I know you are all for inclusivity so I need to tell you your post excludes the visually impaired... I had eye surgery last Tuesday and can't read it
  15. You need to dip into Mary Trumps book "Too much is ne er enough".... his neice is a clinical psychologist and would agree with your summation
  16. Has Bolty stopped posting about Trump altogether now? I mean, it’s utterly embarrassing for him either way, but it would be very Bolty to just slink off and hope nobody notices.
  17. Just seen discussions on other threads about AI posts, so here goes 😂…… Malignant Narcissism The Four Core Traits The concept—originally proposed by social psychologist Erich Fromm and expanded by psychoanalyst Otto Kernberg—is defined by four specific elements: [1, 2] Narcissism: An extreme, grandiose sense of self-importance, entitlement, and an insatiable need for validation. [1, 2] Antisocial Traits: A complete lack of conscience, remorse, or empathy. They often manipulate, exploit, and disregard the rights of others. [1, 2, 3, 4] Sadism: Deriving genuine pleasure, amusement, or a sense of power from the suffering, distress, or humiliation of others. [1, 2] Paranoia: A pervasive mistrust of others, often resulting in unfounded accusations, a belief that people are constantly plotting against them, and the projection of their own malicious behaviors onto those around them. [1, 2] Common Tactics Used Because their primary goal is power and control over others, they use specific, often devastating interpersonal strategies: [1, 2, 3, 4] Gaslighting: Manipulating victims into questioning their own memory, perception, or sanity. Future Faking: Making elaborate promises they never intend to keep to secure compliance or affection. Idealization and Devaluation: Pulling victims in with extreme charm, only to abruptly switch to cruel criticism, coldness, and emotional abuse. [1, 2, 3]

    Proper celebrations, great to watch.
  19. You don't need to be a cynical bastard like me to see it's Starmer trying to portray himself as an action man.... bit late in the day cocker... even the mighty Belgium siezed a ship back in March!

Funny how folk are so different. That particular inferiority complex anthem makes my shit itch. Maybe I need to head homeward and think again?
  22. Can you not blank all of us? Pretty please.
  23. I would say definitely mate. Can't remember which film buff said it (might have been one down under) but he'd been tipped off that the second instalment will be 'much darker' (no pun intended).
  24. Well done for stopping the ship. I see the Russians have said they'll rig their tankers with explosives and detonate them if they are impounded again. May as well just sink the fuckers straight off then.. 😀
  25. Sounds like the life of Riley.
  26. Just a couple of questions - genuine ones See a few people saying they use AI and copy the answer into their comments on here. For those that do, Do you do this because it articulates your view better than you can ? Or is it because the replies are more detailed than you can be bothered typing so it avoids a serious of ‘What about questions’ ? Rather articulate better than you do you think it tends to add points that you had not considered ? Do you use AI to actually form your opinions ? Just interested why people use it. As I am sure people can tell by my typing I do not use it other than to fact check and get some details say on numbers. Personally I am not a fan of the cut and paste approach as it goes from a discussion board and feels impersonal more like a lecture than a debate, but that is just me.
  27. We’ve intercepted a Russian tanker in the channel this morning as well. A rubber boat crossing the channel should be a doddle now Mr Starmer
  28. Masters at having money for everybody but our own people.

  32. Feel like the world cup is about to start now when the beautiful yellow kit takes to the field, should be a good game to
  33. I'll be 70 next month. I wake up every morning and think "fuck me I'm still here, so lets get on with it" Lots of guys I have known haven't got this far down the road so I see it as a privelage and something to be honoured in their memory. Bugger on and don't let the bastards grind you down
  34. He belongs on the opposite side of the world Never been so ashamed in my life Despite my best attempts
  35. Yep. My first was Enigma. A quick check and I’ve read 11.

Fletcher's a great signing on a free for L1. A significant loss for Blackpool. Its mad the difference between a free transfer and paying £1mil like us and Huddersfield for eg have done in recent seasons. PS I think we need a separate thread for other teams transfers, then folk can choose if they want to read them.
  38. That was just awful and complete disgrace but also a by product of the underlying powderkeg of emotions people across the UK are feeling when it comes to the migrant and Islam problem.
  39. Born & dragged up in Horwich. My, rather unevenhanded rivalry was always Stretford. Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, even Bury meant local but not overly negative. Citeh, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport meant f'call. Wigan came in & were immediately an important rival for me.
  40. I mentioned a beheading attempt by a white person. I never suggested it was for balance. I was pointing out that abhorrent crimes can be and are committed by all races. Not desperate, just factual.
  41. I agree, I've already seen 'rumours' of people linking us to the likes of Fossey, Dapo etc. like the only players who exist are the ones who've come into our orbit. Sidibeh is another one who wouldn't be getting mentioned if he hadn't scored 1.5 times against us at Wembley. But equally, only absolute headcases watch a significant number of full football matches that a) don't involve us and b) aren't in the Premier League/Champions League. Given we can't afford players in the latter, it's inevitable that the same names do the rounds. I reckon I could name fewer than 25 Championship players (minus those who've recently been relegated).
  42. It's not political, it's just a statement that we show respect to everyone regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnicity , religion , age , disability . I see nothing wrong with that , I applaud it .
  43. We watched this last night, I really did not fancy it, I was wrong, as you say excellent
  44. Congratulations on promotion. Most Wrexham fans were hoping you stuff those Stockport scruffs, and you did. 👏 As a rough guide we spent around £30-35 million last summer and just missed out on the play-offs. We suffered a very slow start and it took a while for the team to find its feet. Understandable with so many new players - we signed 13 I'm sure you don't need me telling you this but the Championship is a big step up and we got found out many a time, especially at home. I know you have far more Championship experience than us by the way so don't take this as me trying to teach you to suck eggs. I loved last season, loads of great stadiums, some belting away days, good football, no VAR, an FA cup run.
  45. Well, it was once.
