Nah, this will actually improve the attendance I reckon. Prime Saturday right before the league starts rather than shoe horned into a Tuesday night somewhere with second string squads playing. Good draw too with an away day in Sheffield. I'll be getting tickets, which I would never usually do for a midweek league cup game.

Of all the players we were promoted with Dalby is the one i have most faith can step up in the Championship. He's like a better version of Gary Madine, much smarter and more physical.

He’s 21 still learning so give the kid a chance. ACD didn’t exactly have a stellar record before he came and look how that turned out. He’s on loan so if he can’t step up he goes back just like others have but let’s hope he does and surprises us.

I know we're riding on a high and he's a great character and finished the year in fine form, but i just don't believe that's true. Madine was soft and had a stinking attitude, but in terms of footballing ability I think he was significantly clear of what Dalby is. They're just different players entirely in my eyes. I know people have likened Dalby to Kevin Davies, I think for me the player he's most resembled for us in the past would be Jutkiewicz, strong as an ox, brings others in to the game around him, occupies multiple defenders and will score you goals through bravery and presence. But I saw Madine score free kicks, run past players and score from 20+ yards, I don't think you're ever getting that from Dalby.

Go back far enough and a good few would qualify for our next opponents. Shite promoted by the likes of batty Bertie and his ilk are always over the top sensationalism. The vast majority have no problem whatsoever with the majority of immigrants. The influence of West Indian and Indian culture for example has been fantastic and the UK would be a poorer place without them. Yes, there are some rotten eggs but that goes for every nationality including our own. The main issue is with an alien culture which will never fully assimilate. You can argue 'til you are blue in the face. It won't change and will only get worse. This is the one which has to be addressed sooner or later and it will be.

I'm asking if you're able to elaborate specifically on the point you made, which was that people 'on the left' are taking credit for things that wouldn't be possible without Nigel Farage. I've listened to Nigel Farage for as long as you have. This includes going to a Reform rally at the Reebok which I attended with an open mind. And I've frequently referred to him as arguably the most influential UK politician since the Blair era. I just find him hopelessly idealistic, frequently demonstrably wrong and lacking any coherent vision which extends past 'get rid of immigrants'. So I agree that we have a failure to communicate. But we always will do if you can't/won't articulate your point of view.

ITV studio team has nailed it, big 3 are quality but others like Ange, Duncan Ferguson also good. For the BBC Rooney is growing into it and getting better at expressing what is real insight Comms-wise, none of the pairings really stand out for me. Like Shearer as a co-comms, Champion and McCoist work well together, Bower and Murphy steady enough. Matterface is insufferable and Dixon grumbles along like a bloke who's been given a big list of jobs by his Mrs.
