There were a few on the Sunday last year.

Also 5:30PM Sat too.

Luton played Wigan at home in FA3 last year and it was a 5:30 Sat game, not Live.

Yes 8 games on Sunday last year and only 2 on live TV, plus one red button, some very dull ties amongst them.  One game was Villa losing at home to Stevenage, their stock has improved a bit since then!

Palace v Everton is probably the last match on MOTD and you've fallen asleep

With the odd exception any of the ties could be last on MOTD when everyone's fallen asleep, the interest is when your own team is playing then it needs to be a 4-3 game or a major giant killing to get a neutral to pay any attention.   Hull-Birmingham, Swansea-Morecambe, Fulham-Rotherham zzzzz.....

Wiggin have given the Stretford mob the entire East stand for their 3rd round tie.

7k ish I would have thought plus the fifth column , probably be outnumbered.

note to editor: do fuckin keep up !

tbf the entire stadium was designed around that being the away stand all along. Mad how long they’ve gone without reverting back to it

It would probably be the last match in a usual prem season

The Prem is full of "last match" contenders now with Burnley, Sheff U, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford, Forest, Palace....who cares how they do when they play each other?

Just seems very odd

As a new owner it’s one way to piss fans off

He saved them so should have credit in the bank

He wants to be self sufficient

This is how they do it

Will end up like when loads of liverpool fans were in the home end in the PL

Can't find images on Google but it proper kicked off

You mean you prefer to watch Utd, City and Liverpool?

A bit glory hunting that.

Everton & Burnley fans screwed over there

A colleague who's an Everton fan is saying that there is talk of boycotting the match because of the timing

Just checked Luton’s website and our game says 3pm on the 6th.

does anyone know if that’s defo confirmed ?

Can't see it changing now they've announced the TV picks too - They play Sat 30th v Chelsea with no game over new year, and next game is away at Burnley Mon 15th Jan.

There’s additional overseas tv picks which happened last year

so far Luton, West Ham, Fulham, millwall, Watford & Chelsea are all pencilled in for sat 3pm, some will go to Sunday hence why no announcements on any club websites

I mean if United, City, Liverpool lose (or beat each other) it registers, I notice it, and yes I might look at the highlights on TV.  If Bournemouth beat Palace or Sheff Utd the highlights would have to come to me rather than me looking for them!  Same with City having a walk in the park v Fulham.

As for glory hunting, I'm more likely to be watching a Championship or L1 game than a Prem one, but it can be any level TBH, some matches grab my interest and have an edge that appeals, plenty don't.

Maybe there could also be some changes on police advice, if for eg West Ham and one of the other London clubs can't play at home at same time, presume that's not going to be an issue for Luton though.
