Don't worry, opening day will be Wrexham at home on telly with their owners in the directors box with Sharon saying we're the biggest club they've played at since taking over, and that Mullin will get a last minute winner.

Some people will get to sing GSTK though.

after failing to find a commercial sponsor.

Yes it’s a homeless charity

Can we find a different thread to link Wigan related stuff to please? This one gives me nightmares! I had a week’s hiatus from WW after that game and keep getting reminded of it every time it comes back onto the first page.

Funny story though

Quite fitting as the gaff is frequented by smelly fucking tramps every home game.

Quite good that

The brick are a very active charity and the company I work for have an association with them.

I also have dealings with them, what have the patrons of the Brick done so wrong to have this foisted on them, bang out of order 😁

they will be upset if it distracts them from fingering their sisters

Their release lists ...

WIGAN

Released: Ben Amos, Stephen Humphrys, Josh Magennis, Tom Pearce, Charlie Wyke

Returned to parent club: Luke Chambers, Martial Godo, Charlie Goode, Charlie Kelman, Liam Morrison, Liam Shaw, Kell Watts

In negotiations: Jordan Jones, Jason Kerr, Callum McManaman, Harry McHugh

Some hefty wages shed there

Humphrys put on twitter that due to the clubs new strategy and therefore cost cutting measures they couldn’t agree on a contract despite him wanting to stay.

Now, he might have been asking for daft money but just the overall tone of the statement made it sound like Wigan are going to be bargain basement shopping from now on (they’ll still fucking beat us with their youth team if we don’t go up).
