Johnnyrotten Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 I've just seen the big decisions at Derby v Reading. The sending off was harsh to say the least, and I'm being polite. But the penalty is scandalous. Player goes through searching a long pass, can't quite reach it so sticks his arm out to try to knock it past the oncoming keeper. They collide. Should have been a booking to the Derby player, but no - penalty. Another example of the ref being more important than any other individual, the standard is dreadful.
