Fundraising Update - 13/14 Signed Shirt

Hello,

I mentioned on one of the other threads 2 years ago that my missus had to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove an abscess.  This resulted in her having to stay in hospital for 3 months while she recovered.  Unbeknown to us at the time, this has resulted in her developing Epilepsy.  Since she's been discharged she's had 7 seizures, which has impacted our lives more than we could have imagined.  She's tried several medications, but it still isn't under control.

Therefore, I've managed to secure a charity place in the London marathon, running on behalf of the epilepsy society. As with the charity places I need to raise £2000 minimum. I only found out Tuesday I was in and have had a fantastic start.

So, I've been given 4 seats in the platinum suite on boxing day which is against Barnsley, which I'm going to run a football card for.  All the money will be going straight on my fundraising page.

It's a 40 team card @ £10 a team. If you would like a chance of winning, please select a team from the card below and paypal to, bwfcryan86@gmail.com  if you prefer to bank transfer please send me a DM.

If you wish to have a read, and maybe donate please check the link below.

I'll put the violin away now.

Old man was 90 last weekend, he couldnt manage (thankfully ,as it turned out I guess) Wembley, but he may well be watching them at home for the first time in a good number of years at Christmas.

Thanks for organising @L/H White, hope everything goes well for the run, and we are all hoping that your missus is on the road to a full recovery.

I did the MCR Marathon today. First ever marathon and I saw people all over the shop being carried into ambulances/stretchers or collapsed with spectators helping them.

The last 10km was awful. I was on target pace until 32k, then coming out of Sale the dehydration kicked in. Cramps started at Chorlton. Just a battle to the finish then.

A mate of mine (another BWFC fan) said the same - his hardest ever marathon.
