I remember being at the reserves when the first team was away on a Saturday. Lots of radios at folks ears and the Radio Manchester jingle ‘ it’s a goaaal’ and the moments silence waiting for which team had scored.

I was at Bury that day v Chesterfield and the Bury fans were cheering every Chelsea goal. Never went again and hated anything associated with Bury since..

Funnily enough, I was talking about that match recently. Fred Eyre was the commentator and in his usual humorous way, said that Chelsea took off a Walker for a Speed and that’s why they won. I think that’s what he said. 😊
