We're all entitled to an opinion- at that time I was wavering. We've still plenty to do this season as well. Nevertheless, I reckon we're all a bit more confident in him now. I tend the think that there were some bad eggs muck raking- SS has sort of suggested such, without saying it directly. Quote

Stay around pal - it’s a rare thing on here, someone admitting they were wrong and claiming they had a knee jerk reaction. Anyway, my last post on here, it makes me wince when I see this thread moving up to the top and Ive just helped it. 😂 Quote

I come here to read and I appreciate the broad range of opinions (joined 2009). Over time I've whittled off checking other board because WWays seems the most authentic and tons of you are multi generational fans, something I'll never experience so it's just a nice aspect of following the club from afar. I dont think changing managers constantly helps and i dont think we can afford to do it, however this is really poor and today smacked of desperation, which is a concern. SS also looked a bit lost at the end. I dont know what we do, i have no clue who we should get in if he were to go, but something needs to change and quickly. We only seem to be heading in one direction. Since the initial reaction to the Peterboro debacle, he has made changes and the results have improved. It hasnt always been pretty, but the points are on the board. First half at Wimbledon showed glimpses of the team we saw earlier in the season and with further additions this week i am excited at the run in, and hopefully a push for the autos. The Christmas period was really poor though and he cant be immune from criticism. I was 50:50 back then and hit out in frustration after that result, i was wrong, but he has bought himself some more time and credit. Onwards and upwards. Edited February 3 by CambridgeBWFC Quote
bwfc4ife Posted February 3 Posted February 3 End of the day there was always going to come a point when we come unstuck. I agree it did start to look like it had gone stale and we had run out of ideas yet hopefully the new signings can now help us to push on. Not certain we're out of the woods yet, looked good first half Saturday for example but second half was appalling. Got the three points though! I'm hoping the new signings can help us to get a full 90 mins performance and i have my fingers double crossed that it comes a week a Saturday away at Lincoln. We may hit another little bad patch once again, just got to keep your nerve and hope for the best. Give it the rest of the season at least before judging. Quote

My main reason to start following the boys was Ream but even when he left I stuck around haha. Through relegation, administration, etc its not been easy but as @pfk505 said, I would rather support us than be a plastic supporter of one the bigger clubs or like most Americans, 'shudder' be a Wrexham or I suppose Brum fan now. I am all for the underdog I suppose: Bolton, NEC Nijmegen(Did study abroad in Nijmegen faboulous place), Hannover 96(Actually head of the NA Fan Club) DC United. Whilst Hannover used to be a power in the top division, that is not the case anymore but are in with a chance of promotion this season! Anyway, not born a Wanderer but am now one for life. First round is one me for any on here who come to the game when I finally do come over for one haha(Hopefully next season!). Edited February 3 by Homer Quote
