Control the game without the ball or some bollocks

He went on a class run, before getting all weird with his line-up, but even during that we had absolutely no identity. You couldn't define, or describe to someone what kind of football we played..

Just a lurker here. Was well pissed off that day and had a knee jerk reaction. SS in.

We're all entitled to an opinion- at that time I was wavering.

We've still plenty to do this season as well.

Nevertheless, I reckon we're all a bit more confident in him now.

I tend the think that there were some bad eggs muck raking- SS has sort of suggested such, without saying it directly.

Stay around pal - it’s a rare thing on here, someone admitting they were wrong and claiming they had a knee jerk reaction.

Anyway, my last post on here, it makes me wince when I see this thread moving up to the top and Ive just helped it. 😂

My initial reaction to the poll/thread was knee jerk but I have not changed my mind 😁

Good window and still only SS' second, let's get the passing and movement more like that first half last Saturday and enjoy whatever comes!

I don't think this board needs the opinions of a Canadian Bolton fan with no family ties to the club 😅 but I appreciate it. I come here to read and I appreciate the broad range of opinions (joined 2009). Over time I've whittled off checking other board because WWays seems the most authentic and tons of you are multi generational fans, something I'll never experience so it's just a nice aspect of following the club from afar.

How the fuck do you end up supporting our miserable lot? I can at least blame my Great Grandad.

 Knee jerk reaction

But that a poor run against some poor teams could be what makes second out of reach come February. Hopefully not

I hit get rid, but it was more borne of frustration and realy cold toes!

I dont think changing managers constantly helps and i dont think we can afford to do it, however this is really poor and today smacked of desperation, which is a concern. SS also looked a bit lost at the end.

I dont know what we do, i have no clue who we should get in if he were to go, but something needs to change and quickly. We only seem to be heading in one direction.

Since the initial reaction to the Peterboro debacle, he has made changes and the results have improved. It hasnt always been pretty, but the points are on the board. First half at Wimbledon showed glimpses of the team we saw earlier in the season and with further additions this week i am excited at the run in, and hopefully a push for the autos.

The Christmas period was really poor though and he cant be immune from criticism. I was 50:50 back then and hit out in frustration after that result, i was wrong, but he has bought himself some more time and credit.

Onwards and upwards.

End of the day there was always going to come a point when we come unstuck. I agree it did start to look like it had gone stale and we had run out of ideas yet hopefully the new signings can now help us to push on.

Not certain we're out of the woods yet, looked good first half Saturday for example but second half was appalling. Got the three points though! I'm hoping the new signings can help us to get a full 90 mins performance and i have my fingers double crossed that it comes a week a Saturday away at Lincoln.

We may hit another little bad patch once again, just got to keep your nerve and hope for the best. Give it the rest of the season at least before judging.

I watched us spank Arsenal back in the premier league days and it was love at first sight.. the club chose me as they say. Most folk from here who don't have family connections end up following one of the big plastic clubs, I can't think of anything more boring than that.

I’m enjoying this international flavour! 😂

Can we change the thread to “time for some new international posters!”

Can we include "newly international" then the likes of me and Zico can join in? 😁

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Maybe I will stick around and contribute after all these years, at least when I catch the games live (most weeks, but 7am here for 3pm kickoffs). Maybe I will even run into the greatest poster in the history of forums, @little whitt
