I can only speak for myself, but I've waited a long time for these matches and I'm not going to let an extra £10 stop me having the memories they will create, and the anticipation & enjoyment of g

And as pointed out, even with the increases, still cheaper than a lot of L1 prices for this season. Our owners had held prices down commendably for a couple of years, so in real terms not a huge rise

Wigan won’t sell that many by August.

Its semi covered above, But for anyone like me that doesn't read the large, middle or small print.....there are no plastic seazy tickets being sent out this season (unless u request physically as per above from our cheesy brethren)

I bought em, noticed they where being sent to me old address, e mailed em to change address and they said its all email / Google wallet etc.

Another bit of legacy gone. Im the same as Cheese with handing a round of season tickets out pre turnstyle before entry and collecting on the other side. Gives me a sense of bein a good dad. Then ill go pay 14 quid for 2 pints of not madri

The world is changing and not for the better.

In a similar theme it didn't take long before vinyl and proper books came back in to fashion once people realised technology isn't everything.

it was a very sad day for me last week but I actually ended up agreeing with Martin Samuel on something.

He referred to the ‘old days’ saying sometimes teams used to just have bad seasons. Then go again in the next. Nowadays no one is allowed to have a bad season anymore and blood needs spilling virtually on a game by game basis.

Mad thing with our booing (never been for me) is we’re third and on a promotion charge. It’s hard to understand. I appreciate folk are entitled to their opinions and I think no differently for those that do it. I just don’t get it.

Was a sad day when we moved from a book of vouchers to a plastic card.

Do you now have to throw your virtual season ticket (phone) on the pitch instead of your real one when you want to Sack the Board?

The world of instant gratification all seeded by the Internet and social media.

People can't wait for anything anymore.

The press and radio don't help either having to sensationalise everything yo build content and clicks.

Villa were making a title challenge last week. Get beat by Brentford and their sqaud isn't big enough and they'll struggle to make CL spots.

Everyone wants everything now.

Totally agree.

The www brought this way of living on us all.    And for me now the world of a.i is a pretty scary one.

Any road,   still going for a 4-1 victory and we all drink to that

If we don't win I want SS sacked and the board holding to account as to why we never signed Hardie.

Same as most things in life now. You can't get the genie back into the bottle. Cheap beer is shutting pubs (innocent), e.books etc getting rid paper products (guilty). Shopping online shutting everything else. It's shit.

In other news,we'll see these off today. 3 - 0 . another clean sheet.

same

This season I've got it saved in my google wallet but my mate has my card kept with his in a plastic wallet from about 8 seasons ago because he's a luddite, or nostalgic or technophobe.

Plastic cards are available free of charge for next season, all you need to do is send one email.

You can still request a plastic one tbf. I’ve not used my physical one for about 3 seasons, so if there are plenty more like me then it will save the club a small fortune in postage alone.

To be fair they do travel better and I know, I’ve had a couple flung at me in the past.

Mrs renewed mine as a birthday gift i think she just wants me out the house for a couple of days a week.

Same.

I don't even know where my card is

I think we’re planning to do this, but the way forward is to do what a lot of music events already do; an option to pay a little extra for a souvenir ticket.

Charge an extra tenner for those who want a physical ST, on top of the e-version. Fans are happy and a small additional revenue stream for the club.

As long as the club doesn't start making the online wallet version non-transferable (as some clubs do using tech) then I'm fine with losing the plastic card to reduce waste.
