auckland_bwfc Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) Its semi covered above, But for anyone like me that doesn't read the large, middle or small print.....there are no plastic seazy tickets being sent out this season (unless u request physically as per above from our cheesy brethren) I bought em, noticed they where being sent to me old address, e mailed em to change address and they said its all email / Google wallet etc. Another bit of legacy gone. Im the same as Cheese with handing a round of season tickets out pre turnstyle before entry and collecting on the other side. Gives me a sense of bein a good dad. Then ill go pay 14 quid for 2 pints of not madri Edited February 6 by auckland_bwfc Quote

In a similar theme it didn't take long before vinyl and proper books came back in to fashion once people realised technology isn't everything. Quote
tomski Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) it was a very sad day for me last week but I actually ended up agreeing with Martin Samuel on something. He referred to the ‘old days’ saying sometimes teams used to just have bad seasons. Then go again in the next. Nowadays no one is allowed to have a bad season anymore and blood needs spilling virtually on a game by game basis. Mad thing with our booing (never been for me) is we’re third and on a promotion charge. It’s hard to understand. I appreciate folk are entitled to their opinions and I think no differently for those that do it. I just don’t get it. Edited February 7 by tomski Quote

Do you now have to throw your virtual season ticket (phone) on the pitch instead of your real one when you want to Sack the Board? Quote

People can't wait for anything anymore. The press and radio don't help either having to sensationalise everything yo build content and clicks. Villa were making a title challenge last week. Get beat by Brentford and their sqaud isn't big enough and they'll struggle to make CL spots. Everyone wants everything now. Quote

And for me now the world of a.i is a pretty scary one. Any road, still going for a 4-1 victory and we all drink to that Quote

You can't get the genie back into the bottle. Cheap beer is shutting pubs (innocent), e.books etc getting rid paper products (guilty). Shopping online shutting everything else. It's shit. In other news,we'll see these off today. 3 - 0 . another clean sheet. Edited February 7 by FrancisFogarty Quote

Gonk Posted February 7 Posted February 7 This season I've got it saved in my google wallet but my mate has my card kept with his in a plastic wallet from about 8 seasons ago because he's a luddite, or nostalgic or technophobe. Plastic cards are available free of charge for next season, all you need to do is send one email. Quote

I’ve not used my physical one for about 3 seasons, so if there are plenty more like me then it will save the club a small fortune in postage alone. Quote

Rival Son Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) I think we’re planning to do this, but the way forward is to do what a lot of music events already do; an option to pay a little extra for a souvenir ticket. Charge an extra tenner for those who want a physical ST, on top of the e-version. Fans are happy and a small additional revenue stream for the club. Edited February 7 by Rival Son Quote
