Okay its not 5 hours earlier, but it's the play offs. Just look at the 2nd leg, which is on a Thursday night. Under the lights on a Saturday night with the chance of having one foot in Wembley depending on the result. I saw a comment in the dark depths of Facebook (god forbid) and somebody's excuse was that Britain's Got Talent semis was on TV 😂 8 o’clock start, 10 o’clock finish, time to get away I will do well to get home much before midnight. Plenty travel further than me but it is a pain in the arse. People are right that it is a better Saturday than midweek , wonder how of the tickets for the Barnsley game were sold after we won the first leg ? The fact it is 8pm on Saturday I think for folk living local will mean the crowd will be lubricated and vocal ! Quote

It's got a lot of pissed people written all over it I dont think we should be getting into inward crowd noncery over it. 22k in total will be enough for a good atmosphere. There's a lot of reasons why it'll be a pain in the arse for folk. It is for me to be honest but I'll be there. Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted Thursday at 21:19 Posted Thursday at 21:19 Normally drive to home games but very much planning on having a good sup before the game. Get home one way or another.….shame I’m working on Sunday morning 🙈 Quote
Tombwfc Posted Thursday at 21:28 Posted Thursday at 21:28 Generally speaking the injury leaks coming out of the club have been pretty accurate all season. And there's enough wiggle room in SS's comments to make me believe there's probably something in the Kenny rumours. Regardless, outside of 4-0 I don't think there's a scoreline where I'd consider the tie done after Saturday. If we were 3-1 down I'd really fancy us to go and get the first goal on Thursday, and probably the same vice versa. Quote

I understand its a ball ache, even for myself too. But come on, its a chance to get to Wembley and right in the middle of the weekend. Any fan who is remotely interested and can make it has got to turn up surely? Either way, atmosphere is going to be electric and fans have turned up all season. The main talking point is if those 11 on the pitch do so as well. Quote

I get your point, but 3-0 for either side, and its job done. 2 goals is doable in the 2nd leg, but we also have to be realistic, we don't have a habit of getting both the 1st and 2nd goals away. And we don't do clean sheets, home or away. We need to be not losing on Saturday and I also think a draw after 2 legs favours them because we cocked up by getting the 2nd leg away, we need to win within 180 minutes for me. Quote
browniebwfc Posted Thursday at 22:18 Posted Thursday at 22:18 Kenny being out is a massive blow, so we need the crowd to be the 12th man more than ever now. The fans know that we have a big job to do, especially if Dalby isn’t fit enough to start either. Quote

I'm not advocating losing the first leg as a strategy! Equally, we were three goals up with 45mins to play the last time we reached this stage against a toothless looking Barnsley and still ended up clinging on. And this team is a lot more volatile when it comes to scoring and conceding goals in bunches. Point is a lot of our games have taken extreme positions at times before being close in the end. I'd be surprised if this tie wasn't alive coming into the last 10mins next week regardless of what happens on Saturday. Quote

We have shown great resilience to come back in games this year but equally we have on numerous conceded a couple of goals within minutes in games . SS talked about this, add in our ability to concede when on top no score will convince me we are safe or totally out of a tie. Quote

gonzo Posted yesterday at 06:18 Posted yesterday at 06:18 Tutus brother apparently tweeted the rumours about Kenny being injured are true. That's a fucking disaster. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted yesterday at 06:49 Posted yesterday at 06:49 Kenny has been great, but it he's out and Erhahon & Dalby are back ready, I'd be really tempted to slot Erhahon at left side of midfield and really strengthen up by far our most vulnerable side especially in recent weeks. Then push Ruben in as his preferred number 10 behind Dalby, with Cissoko and Duberry on the wings. That's an unreal side and one Bradford wish they'd have available. No excuses. Quote

masi 51 Posted yesterday at 07:13 Posted yesterday at 07:13 No use coming on here whinging and whining about Kenny being out,. The chance of this happening was brought up here last week. Instead of having the whole starting 11 getting a two week rest and facing whoever fit and fresh, we took a gamble.....Thats on SS he royally fucked up last week Quote

Kenny could have been crocked in the first minute tomorrow. Quote
barrycowdrill Posted yesterday at 08:56 Posted yesterday at 08:56 if and it’s a big if Kenny is done i would imagine Simon’s / EE alongside Sheehan Rodrigues pushed forward in to the 10 role behind Burstow with Dalby on the bench GJ replacing Conway Quote
bwfc4ife Posted yesterday at 09:25 Posted yesterday at 09:25 Do we know what's up with Dalby? I thought had he started at bradford with kenny recently we would have had a field day. Hope the kenny rumours aren't true Quote
