Went to see it this morning. A perfect film.

Opinions. We are all entitled to them.

I rated is as boring tosh. Superb scenery mind.

That's the madness of it all I suppose.

Have you seen that mod/weller thing on amazon

5/10 imo

Something about a pebble

Might be your thing if only for the hair driers

I think you must have watched a dodgy copy. Top Bum, probably.

I thought the most 80’s part was when he had to buy beers for leaving his mobile phone on the bar.

Sam Smiths pub?

No mate but if you know the title I will seek it out. Yes, The popcorn machines will probably float my boat.

Back to the Banshees film; besides the magnificent scenery, loved the miniature donkey.

Netflix steered me towards "Knives Out" and the follow on "Glass Onion" over the last few days, as they're apparently trending at the minute - both with very impressive cast lists......but that's as good as it gets

Absolute dogshit, both of them. Combined I reckon the films must be over 5 hours long as well, do yourself a favour and swerve them

the first was better, you are right.

I made the aunty in law watch it with me rather than some shite she wanted to watched, based on how much I enjoyed the first

I had to apologise at the end but she's too polite and was trying to pretend she thought it was good

Proper awkward for us both

The Serena Williams cameo.....WTF was that in there for? - anyway, we decided to finish watching it, even though we knew after an hour it was shit. Mrs Sweep said just before the end "all we need is for the Island to blow up, and that'll make it possibly the most ridiculous film I've ever seen"

Empire of Light was very enjoyable, music by Reznor and Ross again was excellent, beautifully shot - Margate looked amazing! Olivia Coleman was brilliant as ever. Some bits of the script a bit clunky and there's a mod scene at the end that turns into National Front Rally which seems a bit oddly done.

Better at the cinema, and certainly go and see it.

Enjoyed it. Glad I’d forgotten what you’d written about the scene at the end as I had the same reaction as you without necessarily thinking back to your post.

I’m sure they’ll both do well at the awards. Olivia Colman is a national treasure now, isn’t she?

Quite a few trailers seemed decent enough for a change having had months of getting fuck all for our Cineworld card.

Been mentioned already but thumbs up for The Banshees Of Inisherin

I watched the Leprechauns of Enniskillen recently but I’ve a feeling it was a very different movie

Till for us on Wednesday

Yeah, might go to that on Friday or Tar, not sure yet. Its great this time of year after the festivals..loads of great films out.

There's one out soon starring the guy from Parasite- can't remember its name - that looks really good as well. About trying to give a baby away!
