green genie Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Sorry lads, made Stockport look second rate 1st half but lack of depth with our best four players injured proved undoing after the break Quote

Would arguably be an even bigger favour. Edited January 31 by Tonge moor green jacket Quote
Ani Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Anyway I know they are not rivals but just read that Wigan have scored 3 goals, in their last 9 home games ! 1 every 4.5 hours ! They are in serious trouble. Quote
bolty58 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Just observations. The 'bottlers' looked good to me. How the fuck anyone can conclude that they are 'shite to watch' is beyond me. Noni Madueke should be on the plane to the US mid year. The Bromley story just gets better and better. Wirtz and Ekitike partnership starting to look ominous. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Arsenal don't look like bottling it, at least not in any major way. City not mega consistent like they have been before. They do have to play Arsenal again- at home- and a win would make things interesting, but they're still in the box seat. Quote

Wanderlust Posted February 1 Posted February 1 14 hours ago, Eddie said: I said this the other day. I’ve nothing against Lincoln, they’re on an unbelievable run, but history says that very rarely have both teams gone half way through the season and not to be caught. At least one of them will come back to the pack And as Winchester implies, we have to be ready if this happens - but that is exactly what Bradford and Stockport will be thinking as they are well set to overtake us, so we need them to drop points as well - whilst we simply can’t afford to having already played more games. It will help enormously if we beat our rivals when we play them but we are getting way ahead of ourselves talking about autos - we need to secure a playoff spot first and our most important game is Barnsley on Saturday. Grind out wins until the end of the season and only then will we know if all those draws and our away form has cost us or not. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Cashed out yesterday on a six game accumulator. Had Arsenal and draw Brighton/Everton and third game was Chelsea - cashed out 85 mins when it was 2-2. Chelsea won, then Liverpool and then United. Everything would have been riding on City; thank god Spurs got tge draw Quote

And we all thought Doncaster was the easiest of aways, it shows how form changes in this league. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Aye, difficult to see past them now- and I'd rather it now be them. Sometimes, you've just got the hold your hands up and say fair enough. Quote

Zico Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Anything can happen, plenty time to go But City aren't as good as they used to be And Arsenal have a stronger squad with goals throughout They could probably afford a few more defeats and still win it Quote

That's what I expected before the season started. Backed them every single game and well in front. Quote

I said it would not be a whitewash by the Aussies. The former Liverpool fan said it would be. There's a good chance Barcelona could win the CL within the next 5 season. Not out of the question that they could win it this season. Finished 5th so not too shabby. This season, I'm on Arsenal. Quote
