Rochdale have been top all season and have a ridiculous 98 points from 41 games. With a couple of minutes left today York were top for the first time, then 2 goals in the 89th and 97th minutes from Devante Rodney and Ian Henderson restored their 3 point lead. 5 games left. Last one is Rochdale v York! York have a better GD so would go up if they beat them if results are matched in the other 4. One of them could get 108 points and lose in the play offs. One straight up doesn’t seem right then you can sneak in at 7th last day and end up going up and 33 points behind as it stands makes league football cup football Quote

For me, he's not been in great form at all, just happened to get 3 pens to take at Wolves 😀 I love watching him but something missing this year, same as Foden. And Bellingham, and Saka. Even Rogers lately. Eze well ahead of them currently, also Gordon and Gibbs White, but form and fitness will change in 2 months. Bottom line is we don't know who'll be on form for the couple of games in the knockouts that actually matter, not unlike Bolton, we're all just guessing about who'll have an impact game to game. Gordon would start for me currently Quote

Whitestar Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Apter seems like he doesn't wanna be here , Randall was exactly the same its as if they have been naughty and their punishment is to play for BWFC for 60 minutes every couple of weeks, regardless of weather they're continuing anything or not. Quote

ACD has missed the last 11 league games. Furthermore, he played every minute of most games, where a few 15 minutes off may have helped. I’m not sure Schon would have been an option, but he’d have had a lot of minutes, as backup. Edited March 28 by Rival Son Quote

Without checking, if ACD had been subbed most games before the 80th minute, we'd be about 8th! I might be exaggerating, but much of his best work was near the end of games so I still think Schon would have been sat on the bench and would have wanted to leave by Christmas. Unfortunately for him he was signed as a wingback by the previous manager, and we no longer play that system. Quote
Farnywhite Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Schon was asked to play as a wing back we never saw him in the role he would of played this season at least got a bit of fight in him which is what you need in league one Quote

Tombwfc Posted March 29 Posted March 29 We've already got Tutu as a player who isn't good enough defensively to play full-back and isn't good enough going forward to play on the wing. Schon is better than what Apter has shown here, but we need better than both. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Wow. Some scrap that. Seemed to be calming down a touch until that yellow mon makes a full on sprint to launch at the Rochdale lad. Some fines incoming. 🙂 Quote

Southend currently occupy 7th place ie the last play-off spot and they're closer in points the drop zone than they are to second place. Quote
