Biggish Dave Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I don't see the problem in flogging the training ground. Sure, Lostock isn't as good a facility by all accounts and may never be but playing the billy bigbollocks is whats got us in the financial mess in the first place. About time we cut our cloth accordingly Quote
gonzo Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 .....and back we go little old Bolton. It was fun while it lasted. Quote
Sweep Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 What bank debt???? A skeleton in the cupboard? Or clueless Nicko again? I presume by bank debt they mean our overdraft facility, which was about £5M wasn't it? Quote
Carlos Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 So we've got no debt and enough money to last the season. Yet folk are moaning. Fuck me. Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Clean sheet for the new owners ....no excuses from now on. Quote
Sweep Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 So we've got no debt and enough money to last the season. Yet folk are moaning. Fuck me. It's the way of the football fan, to always moan. If we're basically starting with a clean slate next season, no matter what division we are in, at least we can then start to move forward. Hopefully fans won't start moaning about the lack of money being spent on signings when we're enjoying circa 10K crowds on a weekly basis Quote
Guest Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 SS to take over, strip assets, then flog it to Tamraz for a tidy return You heard it here fifteenth Quote

Carlos Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Exactly. I'd fucking love Deano to come out and say, right lads, we've got no debt and will only from now on have servicable borrowing, our main revenue stream is ticket sales, if we get 6K then the team will reflect that. You, Bolton, want a high flying team, you need to get away from your keyboard and put your £££ where your mouth is. Quote
Sweep Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Apart from mortgaging the stadium what's left to strip? I was wondering that, I've heard a few people claim that SS are just asset strippers..........firstly nobody can seem to offer up a reason why they believe this is the case, and secondly they can't state exactly what assets there are to actually be "stripped" Quote
Carlos Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Meanwhile, hats off to Eddie, he managed to put out a team full of internationals, Anelka in his absolute prime whilst managing to skim off a small fortune. Quote

About time we cut our cloth accordingly The Lostock site has the potential to be a lot better than the Euxton site its on a completely different scale to Euxton, hopefully we ship the equipment to lostock put up some new prefabs and it will be 10 times better than Euxton. Spot on folk spouting negativity and bollocks while not putting a penny piece into the club can fuck right off. If we can only muster enough fans to be a decent league 1 or sometimes Champinship team then so be it. Lets get a community ethos with tight knit set of loyal fans with a board who are striving to get the club better and I would like to think most true Whites would settle for that. Quote

MalcolmW Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 It's quite surreal to think that in a few days time our Club Chairman will probably be Dean Holdsworth. I thought he was a replacement for Ameobi. Quote

Naytch Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 (edited) How long til rumours come out of Deano shagging half the players wives, the man just oozes sleaze haha Edited February 19, 2016 by Naytch Quote
MalcolmW Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 this lot have clearly led serious interest for a long time 1 -My concern is why are they only now the party that are preferred If they have confirmed to why is best for BWFC now then great 2 -If we have now (had to) change(d) our requirements / demands, then I'm worried If circumstances have now been met for ED et al to sell BWFC now but weren't before (ie sell assets first), then I am "concerned"; as it's likely that this is less favourable for the club that's left Until we know the above and more, who knows My guess is: 1 - because the billionaire could not prove he had the cash. If everything had been OK he could have been in. 2 - I think raising funds to last this season gives SS as clean a sheet as possible. But as Carlos has said, it is up to supporters to generate gate money next season. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I presume by bank debt they mean our overdraft facility, which was about £5M wasn't it? No, that's gone & was with Barclays, these 'debts' look like mortgages on the hotel owing to Natwest. I'll look later when I've got time Quote
bolty58 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Open mind. Still alive and kicking and prepared to give anyone a chance who has the bollocks to take it on. Quote

Fuck me. i havent a problem in the sale of the training ground if it means the WHOLE of the 2.2M of whatever we have got is penciled in for running costs for the next however months. If any of it is going in the current owners pocket before he hands over keys i do take issue. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I doubt that will ever be made public one way or the other, so it really just comes down to whether you want to have the hump or not. Quote
Guest Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 (edited) A deal hasn't been done, may not ever be done and yet Bolton fans are already moaning about possible new owners they know nothing about. I cannot get my head around that. Edited February 19, 2016 by bwfcfan5 Quote
