I understand it's human nature to be immediately disparaging and dismissive of something risky, especially when there's a good chance you can bellow "I FUCKING SAID THIS WOULD GO TITS UP AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED" Does nowt for me. The club is clearly in the shit and yet so many people seem to want it to fail just so they can stand on Moral fucking Mountain and claim they know everything years in advance (Malc is obviously excluded as he actually does, BTW). Saying I told you so doesn't make you some prophetic Nostradamus style King of Bolton, it just makes you a bit of a cunt really. I'm going to have an open mind and we'll see what happens I know some are concerned that his consortium might be in it for what they can get.....well at the minute that isn't going to be a great deal as we're losing over £1M per month as things stand. Doubt it People raising concerns and issues with stuff doesn't mean they are automatically disparaging anything. You can't fault people for being alarmed at the way this is turning out. It's been a fucking car crash from start to finish. The whole sports shield debacle has stunk of shit since the beginning, from the involvement of a bent and broke family from westhoughton to Deano sat quaffing bovril with in a private box with John Disley. And why the fuck has it taken till now to be even close to getting sorted. Questions need answering before we can all start jumping for joy that the saviour is here. Quote

My opinion is, for the record, that this looks iffy at best. But none of us know the ins and outs so we just have to hope something decent sits at the core of the proposal.
