captainmed Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Something has to give here Going down without so much as a whimper 5 of the last 6 not scored now Joke Quote
CumbrianWhite Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Final straw. Lennons bingo machine is almost as bad as dougies. Quote
radcliffe white Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Fucked big time, other clubs at the bottom are capable of pulling results like Charlton today but not us. Said us and Rotherham will get cut adrift looks the case Quote
Arrested development Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Very poor today. To persist with long ball today when it clearly wasn't working was silly. Clayton Sat on the bench twiddling his thumbs when we could be using him. We need to find a way to utilise Mark Davies further up the pitch because hes being wasted so deep. Vela and Cassado were awful. Pratley awful. Penalty miss just summed up our season. Only positives for me are Wheater and Prince solid. Twatdick was reasonable when he came on aswell. Quote
victor meldrew Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 1 win in 21. yes,but what a win it was, i hope you all have a good memory , because i can't see another one any time soon Quote
Cheese Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 That moment when non league football looks better What, because you watched Salford on TV last night? Get fucked. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Ref and lino couldn't have done anymore to help us win that game, sure there's was a pen on 3 mins. No excuse there today. Team baffling again. Feeney playing up front, then in the hole yet when he gets out wide we actually nearly score. Wherever he's asked to play he gives more than any yet he gets dogs abuse. MIDs at full back, wingers up front, I don't expect miracles but Lennon isn't getting enough out of what he has and he's getting away with it compared to predecessors. Not that I think we should sack him, I don't, but less focus on refs and finances and play people in their position please Quote
snowball Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Total shambles on and off the field at the moment. Only thing that will make a difference is a goalscorer. May be a sticking plaster but with one we would be at least a few places higher and out of the relegation zone. Those two (is it more?) penalties and it would look better. When we said we couldn't afford you know who on loan and subsequent failure to bring in a decent one has doomed Lennon and doomed us. But we had no money is the cry, well you find the money or you plan for Division 3 and good luck finding a buyer with that Gartside/Davies. And Liam Feeney is utter dogshit. And it is a problem because all our attacks go through a 'winger' who can't beat a man and gets one good cross in ten over. Whether that's Feeney's fault or Lennon's its still shite. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Oh and Clayton injured? To drop him after being a small positive last week!! And surely most technical player should take pens, has he got a designated pen taker? Or did Madine and Ameobi just decide brewed them at the time, seemed like it. Quote
birch-chorley Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Agreed We need at least 1 but probably 2 players in the final third who can create chances / convert chances and we need them in quick before it's too late Been a similar story the last few seasons after a shit start someone has come in to help turn us around (Juke, ALF) - it's worse though now and more unlikely that we can get quality in It's a big risk but it may have to be a couple of young up and coming kids from one of the big boys are Ho needs first team experience. At least they may loan us a player without requesting a fee Very very troubling times Quote
Guest Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Missed chances, but at least we created some Vela is our best Right Back Quote
Marc505 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Im always positive when it comes to football, my team surprising me for years to get into the premier league, to survive, then thrive, then to get in europe... then to beat the drop against all the odds. Tonight, I've never felt so down and resigned to it. I left at half time in a strop about my fork snapping on a pie crust. Im at that stage. Quote
Arrested development Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Missed chances, but at least we created some Vela is our best Right Back He was fucking abysmal today. Quote
Rizlar Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Fucking rubbish cannot see it changing division 1 next season. Quote
jules_darby Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 He was fucking abysmal today. He wasn't great But plenty were worse Quote
darrener Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 He was fucking abysmal today.you watched a different game mate,he was one of the better players today. Feeney and madine on the other hand are stealing a living. Quote
frank_spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Missed chances, but at least we created some Thats my positive from the day. Ameobi sticks away the pen or his late header, madine gets his headers inside the far post or the keeper doesnt get to feeneys top corner effort and things look a lot rosier. The lack of a goal scorer is killing us at the moment. Quote
frank_spencer Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 you watched a different game mate,he was one of the better players today. Feeney and madine on the other hand are stealing a living. Created pretty much all our chances today and all season. Quote
Cinnykid Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Best player spearing, but won't surprise if he's dropped next week with lennons out of the hat team selections, keeps trying every week to find his magic formula, e.g dobbie, in. But keeps failing miserably. Game was crying out for clayton for that big stump ameobi, he's just another heskey (past it) can call Madine but things did happen when he came on. Pratley been shit all season defo not captain material, davies one good run all game he should be terrorising their defence with his talent, not getting the best out of our main man yet he's giving his all for us and feeney well, his name is first on the team sheet with my total amazement. Stealing a living, but good luck to him. Quote
darrener Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Created pretty much all our chances today and all season.he's still crap, sorry if that upsets anyone, that's why Millwall let him go!!! Shite Quote
