Site Supporter Spider Posted November 30, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted November 30, 2015 I've said very little on the subject But this Birch seems a shrewd fella and I suspect he knows what he's doing by not paying the players. More to this than meets the eye I think. We're not gone yet
ex_midlandwhite
Are we due a parachute or are they paid in advance Think we maybe get the last one end of this season? Just based off this. Could well imagine that is earmarked for Nucleus though http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/13312383.Wanderers_continue_to_count_the_cost_amid_parachute_payment_changes/?ref=mr&lp=

captainmed
All the media will love this especially if we go into administration. Why would they?We are not a big club. Many of the teams in this division are bigger than us. There are teams in the bottom 2 divisions bigger than us too. The media report news stories, that's it. I was talking to a SW fan yesterday, taking 4500 to Stoke this week and they sold out in 2 hours. We'd struggle to manage 1000. Enough said. That's what I was alluding to above, but couldn't be arsed typing out. In the main, I don't think anybody, other than Bolton fans, would really give much of a toss if we went into administration......let alone "love it"

Yes SW bigger club than us but is 4.5 beyond BWFC fans is it fuck. Think we took that to Portugal, the problems caused by shockingly bad financial management of the club by supposed custodians at the moment are causing our apathy and with a bit of TLC and a modicum of investment we'd be easily taking that to stoke. And who are all these clubs bigger than us in league 1 and 2, I can possibly see 1 and only because they have bigger support, and not based on success or history.
