BOWTUN BAKED
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, iirc, when Deano became director of football, did he not say, it was a temporary position until a manager was found & put in place? & he'd hold it until the new manager had put relevant personnel into place? Or something like that? Or did I dream it? If so, nothing to see here!

DIPS
No need for mass panic. Makes sense with Parky and co here they are exclusively in charge of all transfer activity.
onlyoneawalker
The tone of the club statement suggests it's far from planned I feel for the guy ckearly agreed to anything to get the deal done and sweaty kens ruling the roost

waffer cup 07
Don't try and understand the inner workings of a football club just hope we do it on the pitch.
MancWanderer
Not sure why it's news. Director of Football meant filling a gap between Lennon and Parkinson If he'd resigned from the club full stop and pulled all financial support then I might be worried
Matt Lofthouse
I'd like to think in the future we can look back and think how he played a part in getting the club back on the straight and narrow, failing that it's all been a wanky waste of time and he's still a tit for that that miss against villa. HR
I'd like to think in the future we can look back and think how he played a part in getting the club back on the straight and narrow, failing that it's all been a wanky waste of time and he's still a tit for that that miss against villa. I really hope straight and narrow can be used to used to describe our current status. At the back of my mind there are still lots of unanswered questions and I wouldn't criticise anyone for asking them. Some big positives though, our manager seems competent and recruitment seems fit for purpose. Anything better than staying up and even keel would be a bonus this season. Mounts Kipper
the brevity of the club statement speaks volumes we aint heard the last of this There's been a fall out and KA is the piper can't see it ending nicely for Deano.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 21, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted July 21, 2016 I thought Deano was chief exec initially, then became director of football more recently. Not so sure that's so important in itself, but something does seem amiss.
