birch-chorley
Sugar is 100% natural. It doesn't make any difference if it's white sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, honey or molasses. It's all going to break down into glucose pretty much immediately.I've googled the process and it looks as if they use a shed load of chemicals during the process Not sure if that means it could be then classified as 100% natural Edited January 8, 2017 by birch-chorley
Mounts Kipper
Surely cutting out bread, less crisps, biscuits, chips with a reduction in ale intake will drop most peoples weight dramatically that's my plan and shouldn't be too hard. It won't make any difference to glucose production and insulin response which is the main thing which might conceivably have a bearing on weight loss. As for honey being an anti fungal and anti bacterial. Certain types of honey are useful on some wounds if it is applied topically - we use it on some special wound dressings at work. But it won't do owt if you swallow it. It will make your bread taste nice though.

From your posts I'm guessing that you are heavily involved in woundcare Interests me as it's very divisive in terms of formularies across the UK

There's a good synopsis here if you can be arsed. http://www.woundsresearch.com/article/honey-biologic-wound-dressing

mannyroad58
Went for a 3 mile run last night and then weighed myself and I've lost 2LB in a week so I'm happy with that start
kent_white
Little tip - if you're going to weight yourself - do it in the morning before you eat and drink, after a piss and a plop and in the buff. Weighing yourself at the end of the day is a waste of time as it'll change substantially based on how much fluid you've taken on board/what you've eaten/whether you've been to the loo. Try weighing yourself and then drink a litre at water and then weight yourself again. You'll be about 2lbs heavier.

Face, arse, balls, chest, etc. Clip your finger and toe nails. This is like Apollo 13 now. You have to get the weight down to the minimal possible.
