Boothy Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 There was a Sheffield United fan stood next to me at the home game this year in ESL. Only really annoying because he was a fat prick and kept filming their fans. Had a Bolton pin badge on an all the wily fat twat. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Our best and most well known little right winger is nicknamed "Not in Crawley" Love you too ???? Quote
MancWanderer Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 No issue with anyone sitting in the wrong end as long as they don't balloon around like a cunt (Everton the other year in the cup for example). Yep. This absolutely. I've sat in quite few home sections and always been respectful keeping quiet when we've scored  I've also had plenty of away fans near me when I had a ST in WSU. Only Everton and Man U fans have been dicks and celebrated wildly when they scored. Once had a line of 8 Liverpool fans on the row behind me. They stayed quiet but it was funny when they scored. There was just a collective grunt and when we all turned round they all stared at their shoes. Ended up having decent banter with them. Stewards clocked them but were told to leave them alone by everyone which surprisingly they did. Worst I ever saw were a couple of pissed up Scandinavians. They were over to watch a Man U Sunday game and came to our game on the Saturday. Started gobbing off loudly about United and got their comeuppance. Quote
gonzo Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Gene Wilder has even jumped on the Madine bashing. Â Fookin ell I hope all this gives him motivation. Quote
Marc505 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 It doesnt make much difference, but does anyone know when that video was actually filmed? Â Hope he's fully motivated for a battle on Saturday, no shying away Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Does anyone know when this Madine thing was filmed? Balls to them, truth hurts Quote

Worst I've seen was the 3 United fans sat in front of me in the Manny Road stand on black Sunday. Can't remember if it was after the 2nd or 3rd goal that half the stand swarmed on them. I'm not one for violence but absolutely no sympathy for the leathering they took Quote

I'm not one for violence but absolutely no sympathy for the leathering they took There were a few in the burnden stand that cheered when the first went in. Â They were lambs to slaughter. The paddock migrated like a herd of buffalos charging across a plain. Â Only ever done it once at city when we won the league. We ended up sat in the disabled section at the front of the main stand after being asked politely to move from the JD 'family' stand. Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Sat in the Wiggin end on a freebie from my mate at Barclays, when we were collecting for the Christie. Had to sit on my hands as the wanderers scored. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Was in kop when we got beat 5-2 got sussed out after 2 minutes no problems from the scousers though and was in the Chelsea end (quite a few Bolton in Chelsea end)when Jody morris scored to send us down gotvsussed out very early however Chelsea fans were willing us to score to send Everton down. The only other time went in away end was Man U when they were developing the ground and did not give us hardly any tickets was in South stand and again quite a few Bolton in there. QFPants Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Sat on my hands at Ewood when Vaz Te rounded Friedel then slipped on his arse. Got cheap tickets in that temporary uncovered stand at Maine Road whilst at uni in Manchester; hammered down with rain and we were shit and got battered so wish I hadn't bothered. Also sat in the home end with a Boro fan at the Riverside when we lost 4-3. Pretty sure I was clocked as Bolton early doors in that game. Didn't act like a cock and was sat with a Boro regular (probably 34F and a face like a melted welly) so no problem, might have been different if we'd won Quote
Zico Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 First game at Etihad  Sat on hands when nolan put us 1-0 up  Then watched us get bummed 6-2  Grim Quote

UNITED! went up, on cue is new found friend shouted SHIT! SHIT! It didn't go down well with the locals. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Newcastle away when ketsbaia scored last minute that was shite and in Liverpool when chungy went round keeper and missed it at 0-0 I went yeaaa ooooh then just sat down no fucker said owt can't remember final score so we must ave lost Edited February 23, 2017 by onlyoneawalker Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Had a few games in the opposition end. Hull on that Friday night and being in the Kippax the night we won the league spring to mind. Would much rather have been in with our own Quote
EyesRight Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Been in the home end at Blackburn, Man Utd, Tranmere, Huddersfield and Liverpool over the years. Â Never had any bother, even when fucking raging about a last minute winner for Utd after Holden got injured. Â Know a fair few in Sheff Utd end Saturday...they say they'll be quiet but last minute winner after a few beers who knows? Quote
Casino Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 When the theatre of shite was being developed, somebody off here got us in his companies box  8 or 10 of us  We quite quickly got sussed as Bolton by the m0ngs in front of us and they enjoyed giving us shit as eCh goal went in  One of our lot scrawled munich 58 on a card and stuck it in the window  Not clever but it pissed em off  Said box arranger just about kept his job    Most memorable sitting in the home bit was Millwall, year the albion coach got smashed up  Threatened with being slashed by a five year old sat on her dad's knee  Everyone's constipation cleared up, sharpish Quote

jules_darby Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Done quite a few over the years - was in the Shed for the aforementioned Chelsea relegation game. £100 a tkt to see us relegated  Also notably Swindon cup semi final (missed tkts in our end), Bradford in the cup (left our away tkts at home) and a few more.  Only time there was bother was when we beat the filth 1-0 with the Nolan goal at Trafford. I was on the front row of the main stand and was quiet all game but couldn't hold it in when the final whistle went. Got a load of shit off some Irish lads but it got split up and as they left the ground I made it over to the Bolton end. Started getting grief from our lot as I walked over - they must've assumed I was a red. was then on the mobile to someone in our end (prob gumbo) - and started waving and punching the air at him; our end realised I was Bolton and stopped abusing me but then their stewards realised I was Bolton and grabbed me, wrestling me all the way out threatening me a kicking for being a "yonner bastard".  Thoroughly enjoyable Quote
birch-chorley Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Utd away when they did the ground up  Blackburn away first season up (Darren end was half and half but the Blackburn half was full of Wanderers- think we lost 3-0 Shearer hat trick?)  City away - won the league  Edit - Swindon cup semi Edited February 23, 2017 by birch-chorley Quote

zurichwhite Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Even the mild mannered Manny Rd South terrace steamed into some cheering Utd that day Quote

white noise Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Went in Swindon end in League Cup Semi, had my Bolton top on under my coat. We were attacked by Bolton fans as we left the ground, managed to open my coat, which saved me and the chap next to me got a slap. Quote
