And a last thought for those who hoped parliamentary sovereignty was a cornerstone of British democracy: the parliamentary committee able to properly scrutinise treaties like the CPTPP was abolished last week. Funny how you believed a spurious claim from Boris Johnson.. you’re in a death loop to 2016… it’s over. Never ceases to amaze me how little people in the UK seem to know much about population breakdowns between the four nations. In total Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland make up around 15%. Back to my previous comments about it being time to look after the majority. For a start, they are the ones filling the public purse. Ani
Starmer is quite dull and very very moderate. He is closer to traditional Tory than most of the current cabinet. Boring and centre ground is what we need. I imagine he has a weekly 'to do' list and numerous spreadsheets that he updates on a Sunday in bed wearing his pyjamas. Will make a decent PM given the chance.

I do think, unlike the Johnson, he does come across as a fairly decent person (I also think, for balance, that Sunak does as well)
