Partygate?

That was the time when when Boris Johnson and his “government” were ignoring all the rules they set wasn’t it? At the exact same time I was having to talk to my dying mother through a window that the care home would only allow me to open by 2 inches.

Funny what you remember.

Didn't happen. Sue Grey made it all up.

No, he doesn't, he's just looking for a conspiracy that really isn't there

Time will tell.

It was acknowledged at the time that she was left leaning, now she has moved definitively. Who’s to say that she was/wasn’t impartial only a few short months ago?

Please. Who appointed her?

Sorry but this is barrel scraping at its very best.

Are saying here the party gate investigation was in some way biased?

As for the BBC it is no wonder folk want the licence fee reducing or removing, the standard of journalism is utter shite.

...and their 'ad breaks' for their news programmes use the word 'unbiased' over and over again. Lying bastards.

Nah, she was well known as being straight as a die.

Excellent. She is 'F' then and we needn't worry about the other 72?

I've gone through the list, and "Twatspatula" isn't on it, and that's what I identify as, usually

Funny you should say that, because that's how I'd identify you too. Either that or cockwomble or spunktrumpet.

What a silly move it is at this time.

Irrespective of whether she was impartial in her work, ammunition has been delivered in a significant quantity, and an opportunity to question her legitimacy and findings.

Moreover adds credence to the accusations against the blob.

It's normal for governments to get accused of sleaze when in power- Starmer is now going to get it beforehand.

On the face of it, it seems bonkers timing, but it may be a case of getting it out of the way now, whilst "in credit".

Were the police hoodwinked by Gray as well?

Please see my earlier post - there is no sleaze, nothing untoward has been done, its an excellent appointment for a party that has a good chance of forming the next government and needs experience hands at the tiller to see them through the first few years to manage a party that has been out of government for over a decade.

Anyone thinking anything other is looking for something that isn't there to grind axes. The most insane thing is that this is coming from those (not you, but across other social platforms) who have bent over backwards defending the actions of Johnson, Trump and Truss.

I was wondering when the death rattle from this slice of politics was going to come, but the uproar at this and hearing Johnson's deflating balloon of a speech the other day, like a man who knows time and tide have passed him by, shows that's where were are at.

If the Tories want to keep bringing up Partygate by going on about Sue Gray, they are more than welcome to. A sure vote loser.

Exactly. And with a bit of luck the silly twats will keep delaying the inquiries until just before the next election, then we can really bury the fuckers.

All told, its really not been a great week for the Brexit hardliners and the Johnson loyalists.

Johnson is just fucking odd, he's still lurking around on the sidelines, waiting for his chance to jump back into the top job......and I really think he'll become leader again, once they sack Sunak off when he loses the next GE.

He's been proven to be absolutely useless, yet there are still many in his party who would wank themselves silly if he became leader again.
