That was the time when when Boris Johnson and his “government” were ignoring all the rules they set wasn’t it? At the exact same time I was having to talk to my dying mother through a window that the care home would only allow me to open by 2 inches. Funny what you remember. Didn't happen. Sue Grey made it all up. Quote

Irrespective of whether she was impartial in her work, ammunition has been delivered in a significant quantity, and an opportunity to question her legitimacy and findings. Moreover adds credence to the accusations against the blob. It's normal for governments to get accused of sleaze when in power- Starmer is now going to get it beforehand. On the face of it, it seems bonkers timing, but it may be a case of getting it out of the way now, whilst "in credit". Quote

Please see my earlier post - there is no sleaze, nothing untoward has been done, its an excellent appointment for a party that has a good chance of forming the next government and needs experience hands at the tiller to see them through the first few years to manage a party that has been out of government for over a decade. Anyone thinking anything other is looking for something that isn't there to grind axes. The most insane thing is that this is coming from those (not you, but across other social platforms) who have bent over backwards defending the actions of Johnson, Trump and Truss. I was wondering when the death rattle from this slice of politics was going to come, but the uproar at this and hearing Johnson's deflating balloon of a speech the other day, like a man who knows time and tide have passed him by, shows that's where were are at. Winchester White Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Also, Sue Gray wasn't even first choice, she was asked by Boris Johnson when the original fella was found to have attended some of the parties in question. Quote

Johnson is just fucking odd, he's still lurking around on the sidelines, waiting for his chance to jump back into the top job......and I really think he'll become leader again, once they sack Sunak off when he loses the next GE. He's been proven to be absolutely useless, yet there are still many in his party who would wank themselves silly if he became leader again. Quote
