If it hasn’t been mentioned on here, google have a simple guide to cases worldwide.

Just google ‘Covid cases’ and a country.

There is a drop down box for a search of a country of choice.

going to Cyprus on saturday for 5 days.

can't believe i'm on a land holiday.

strange times

Don’t forget to have your test done first.

Loved Paphos last year. Looking forward to going to Ayia Napa next year, albeit other half is a bridesmaid at her mate’s wedding while we’re there so that’s one day of the holiday ruled out.

Think I’m going to have to pull the trigger at some point soon and get some sun, sea and sitting on my arse for a week or so somewhere. Week after week of Microsoft Teams meetings is doing my nut in. If I have to isolate it makes no difference to my living/working week

@Traf may get notice soon if mine and Mrs M’s work diaries can sort a free week or so. Long weekends in the UK are fine up to a point. And that point has been reached

Was meant to be going on a 50th in October to Lisbon for 5 nights. After all this shit we decided to delay booking flights & apartment until we were a bit clearer on quarantine etc.

Anyhow, the lad whose 50th it is has sent a text on the WhatsApp group asking if we can do a 2 night city break in the UK instead.......

I haven't replied......

12 of us supposedly going to Normandy 2nd to 5th October.
That's now off the cards and they're not wanting to book somewhere else. Soft cunts, they've all got time off from work/wives etc, but seem to have contracted the "fear"

So, I'm looking at Krakow, Warsaw or Munich on my own right now.

Deadly that F.E.A.R.

It’s not fear, it’s practicality. If you can afford to self isolate for 2 weeks, go for it. I notice Poland’s infection rate upward trend is similar to the Czech Republic ( 2 weeks isolation on return) We were supposed to be going to Prague in 3 weeks but neither myself or my wife can afford 2 weeks off.

Don't bother with the isolation, job done

Anyone wants a weekend away and prepared to travel for it and wants picture postcard scenery and the best seafood you can imagine then head to plockton on the west coast of Scotland. Ended up there last night and already booked to go back for a long weekend next summer. Tremendous.

north coast 500 highly recommended as well but I’ve never seen road like it. At one point we were on top of a mountain on a single track road with winds gusting like I’ve never experienced. But the scenery is breathtaking.
