FA cup next round

Not even sure Newcastle away would be much of a payday with the mood of their fans these days. Too much of a risk of losing to play Blackburn

It’s either got to be a League One team at home so we can hopefully go through to the next round or Liverpool/Arsenal/Tottenham/Chelsea/Man Utd away and coin it in. Don’t want City as we’ll make bugger all from gate receipts (although going to an away game against a world class side for £20 for ticket and travel would be a novelty).

Liverpool at the Unibol

that would be ace, i've converted to being a Liverpool fan too.

Not sure which end I'd go in, suppose I'd end up in the home end, as i'd never get a ticket with the mighty reds.

Probably 1st game at their new ground

That's the ideal draw in terms of money in the bank

We either want top 6 away or really shit team at home to progress

More than ever before, the draw is about the money, nowt else matters

Bit of history to be involved with too which can never be a bad thing. An absolute slag of a trip to sort out at short notice though!

Everton away please. They had 38000 on versus Lincoln yesterday. Plus we'd probably win too

Yesterday might've been included in their season ticket?

Agree though that if we can't get a big club, they are next best

TV money shouldn't be overlooked in all this

I'm thinking it's chunky, especially if it's BBC

The prize money has doubled from last season. I've not seen anything new about TV fees, so I'm assuming the deal is as for last season. And both teams get 45% of gate receipts - Cambridge got £1.2M from the OT gate alone last time.

Every round there is a real risk of being knocked out, no matter who we get (we did come back from 0-1 yesterday).
