Tried reading that Chimp Paradox book a few years back and couldn't take it seriously. I've heard it's helped a lot of people though, so each to their own.

We get a lot of stuff like that as suggested reading at work. I try it as I won’t dismiss anything but it just does nothing for me. But if it helps others then fair play

I find TV programmes that are close to home worse than a book.

Not be able to get through that documentary on 7/7 - tried about 3 times this week.

I saw a 7/7 documentary a few weeks back. Maybe the same one, with the copper who actually shot JCdM speaking.

A bit of naughtiness at the time by very senior officers, but a very unfortunate event, underpinned by some weak information.

Worth a watch: it perhaps paints a picture of just what the security services as a whole have to go through.

That was a different doc but yes, definitely worth a watch too. The 7/7 one covers the aftermath of the JCDM killing in the final episode and the initial Police mishandling where they reported he'd ran into the underground, vaulting the ticket barrier etc

Dopamine and the chase, for it is a major factor.

Well it is for me anyway.

Anything with Bradley Walsh in it should be seen as a major factor.

Been a challenge for me this winter , never bothered me before….but fuck me this winter been grim…. My own fault for not going Spain Xmas for some sun…. Hopefully as nights get lighter and weather improves, I’m on the right side.

You sure it's just that?

Commented to the lad a few days ago, about how I sensed spring even though it was so early.

I hadn't finished my sentence and he piped up "yes, can hear the birds and feel the slightly longer days".

Helps if you work outside I reckon; not specifically the light, but experiencing the natural environment as a whole.

It really has been shite

I'm someone who likes the seasons but I've had enough of it now

It did feel as if there was a bit of spring in the air this afternoon

I'm not sure if I was just in a bit of a glow after today's result though

Watched the game and saw some shadows of the stands...don't often see that in winter🙂

Been teaching classes outdoors 9-3 this year as part of a new school initiative.

First year that I’ve not had any SAD. The morning light makes a massive difference, even on a cloudy day.

I just wrote something, but thought better of it.

Maybe I will in a few days.

Suffice to say, despite the well known benefits of it all, just how little so much of the education and healthcare set ups seem to actually give a shit.

Lip service.
