Dunno, maybe. I was thinking tier 3 was fully closed boozers.

Surely local alehouse could do a deal with the local Chinese or pizza place- send a load to the pubs!

I asked a few places we supply today and they’ve been told

got to be a main off a lunchtime or evening menu can’t order a starter or a desert and get a pint😀

problem some have who don’t serve food is they can just about survive let alone take on extra staff to cook wait on etc

Know your suggestion is tongue in cheek , but believe they’ve used ‘ substantial meal ‘ as that term is already in law and has a specific description and stipulations to stop pubs serving crisp butties etc .
for example, I believe served with a knife and fork which is required to eat it is one of the stipulations.

Funny how different folk see it. You’re a rarity in being a Manc biz man that thinks that way.

I’d say the same about the crooks and liars in Westminster tho

241. I know it is a Tuesday but that is very bad.

Is it

Approx 3% of a normal weekly death toll?

Well shouldn’t he be arguing to stay in tier 2 until the figures are released rather than try to hold the government to ransom for more cash.

Wasn’t it 80 yesterday? That’s 320 over 2 days, not a big increase on the 7 day average.

You can't order a drink without ordering a meal and once you've eaten you have to leave.

So 21% of the normal daily toll.

As mentioned up by 70% compared to last week.
