Wigan for me + i know a few others who did the same, although a week or two later Wigan went into the same restrictions as Bolton.

Yes, go figure!

As they annoyingly say in American TV shows.

They’ll be in Tier 3 with us naughty children.

608 deaths today. I think that is the biggest number of the second wave

It is, but cases are decreasing rapidly, which is great.

Having looked at Bolton's numbers, we've dropped from 5th in the league to 46th (a rapid fall only our team can mirror)

Optimistic we may squeeze into tier 2 next week if it carries on like that,

A lot of pressure on the government (from Tory back benchers and Labour) to publish the formula for these Tiers

Amazing some folk don't think its important they are being called to account for their decisions

They don't want the virus to get to know the strategy

I think the government have read it wrong again, surprise, surprise.

Follk would generally be prepared to not mix short term rather than risk close family deaths.

They can choose not to, though

To be fair, they don’t have to. It’s down to personal choice. My elderly MIL has already said she’d rather not mix.

Anyway, my wife will be working afternoon shifts on 4 of the 5 days starting Christmas Eve. On the back of a potential pay freeze next year she’s just let out a stream of expletives Priti Patel would be proud of! If the pubs were open, I’d slope off for the rest of the night.

Definitely, I agree.

But they’re taking another unnecessary risk.

Trying to please the masses but misreading the situation.
