So it does seem there was time needed to think about whether parties wanted to continue

I can't claim to have changed my opinion on Evatt but the decision has clearly been taken so on we go

Fantastic news that Evatt has the full backing of Sharon and the Investors. It’s very easy to forget the impressive job  IE has done since his appointment. Certainly been more ups than downs and by the sounds of this interview it seems like there will be more cash available to improve.

Would you give him more cash after spunking  over a million on Jerome, Dan, and Vic?

You might after he bought in Toal, Sheehan, Dempsey, Collins, Santos, Baxter etc though.

Sheehan, Santos, Baxter freebies, i wouldnt, and the misconception that we make profit on players, only two why Evatt as been manager, Dapo, and Politic!

Yes, he clearly has an eye for talent (Dapo, Bradley, Trafford and Maghoma)

Adeboyejo is decent at this level, wouldn’t have said he’s worth £500k but that’s the inflated January market for you.

All those would sell for a fee right now, as would Toal.

I agree with that, and all decent signings whether free or not. Would Dan or Vic? 800,000 thousand on transfer fees alone, plus wages.

Not at all. I'll never get the Dan signing for as long as I've got a hole in my arse.

We had our best spell of the season with Vic in the team, although if I had to describe a player to suit our philosophies he would be exactly the opposite, but for the first half of season it worked.

But you can't slag recruitment for 3 signings but not praise for the rest of the signings that got us to where we are. There's plenty of value in our squad and plenty of perfectly good footballers.

I'm certain the board won't be giving him carte blanche with an open chequebook either way.

Like i said the signings you mentioned, are good signings, and deffo have a value, but the two mentioned have cost us big time. Lets hope that  the Turkish team is still interested in Vic, turns out to be true, get what we can for him. Its going to be  very difficult summer for Evatt, and the recruitment team. Lets hope they can work some magic.

If we’re off the pace come October he goes for me and i bet regardless of Sharon’s nice speech they will have targets in place for him

100% it's shit or bust.

All that credit in the bank is gone now.

He's into his overdraft :)

Genuinely confused as to how anyone could want Evatt gone. As I said, more good times than bad, got us playing great football and out scoring majority of the country. Has improved season on season even with a budget now confirmed as only 5/6th biggest.

Regardless of your thoughts on Evatt, you can’t have anything but respect, pride and admiration for Sharon’s leadership of our fantastic club. She’s remarkable. I don’t disagree with one word of her thoughtful, well-timed and passionate response to our current position and where she sees our future.
