and the idea he has something to think about came from thin air

I asked where it had come from, and got an answer. Sometimes, people ask genuine questions.

Then leave them to it. We're not "in limbo", we're just waiting for some news that might not even come. As Casino said, there's only speculation about Evatt's future because a load of wankers are inventing it out of thin air.

After you had stated it had been invented by a load of wankers.

Nice way to talk about our manager.

He said he'd think about the future. That can be interpreted any way you choose.

If you show me a centre half that's capable of mixing it up physically as well as playing football we often expect our defenders to then you'll be showing me a Premier League defender.

Yup. And add to that a captains brain and you've got a world class defender.

Bods goal to minutes is better than victor I think. That’s how shit our strikers are

Not true, but both are shit.

Vic has 10 in 2075 minutes, Bod has 4 in 1450.

I think 14 players played more minutes than Bodvarsson and Dion Charles unsurprisingly had the best goals to minutes ratio.

He did. I think 3 in the EFL trophy?

BBC stats (only covers league / FA Cup / league cup):

All opinions of course but the player we could still get more from is Sheehan. 12 assists is still pretty good considering he's started as the base of midfield in all bar 5 games, only 2 goals a bit disappointing but hardly surprising maybe.

In the 5 games he's started in a more advanced role he's scored 1 and assisted 1, and if my memory serves me right got us a pen v Derby (H). Get a proper DM in to screen the back three, get it and give it, put Sheehan up where Maghoma's been, flirting around behind Collins and Charles and he could easily replace Maghoma's goals and add more assists.

4 league goals in 1450 minutes on the pitch.

3 x FA Cup goals and 3 x BSM Trophy goals.

if bods having 10, dans 5 in a lot less games

According to transfermarkt, Kevin Davies' scoring rate for us was 392 minutes per goal.

Different players obviously, but it does show that a striker is sometimes utilised in a very different manner than others.

Overall Bod has 10 in 2008 minutes and Dan has 5 in 919, not much in it tbh.

Jerome was 4 in 918

They all aren't the standard required to get us out of this division.

the night we battered oxford, wasnt JDB excellent?

justa general comment btw, not disputing what you say

i think we have in collins, charles and victor, 3 perfectly good players for this level

id always want at least one of charles and collins available, playing with/instaed of victor

if we could have a fit CMG back as well, that should be enough to go into the season - sadly, i think CMG is a cpl of months behind

He was but let's be right, they were absolutely shocking and gifted us our first 3 goals.

The "assist" stat is utterly pointless.  I could be brilliant & put a chance on a plate but if the striker, let's call him Dob, misses it, I get no credit for an assist, whereas if someone miskicks a cross but the striker hits an overhead, dipping, thundercunt shot into the top corner off it, they get credited with an assist.

Victor is not good enough to play evatt wants it playing. Put balls into the 6 yard box n he finishes. We don’t get balls in

Who does Dob play for and how much would he cost? 🤔
