Sheffield Wednesday is a larger football club than Bolton providing Sunderland a bigger match

- More fans, never played in the the 4th Division, won more major trophies, qualifed for Europe more times even though was denied two European campaigns due to Liverpool fans killing people.

99 times out of a 100 you talk utter bollocks and then you deliver that last point

They didn't kill anyone - the Italians, fond of stabbing scarfers in the arse and running away on their mopeds shit out and ran off when the scousers charged at them. They killed their own trying to clamber over a decrepit wall to escape.

I despise Italian men, to a man they are lying cheating thieving shithouses.

Apart from Pirlo, Georgio Locatelli and Francesco de Mosta.

For example Gino Di Campo - cheeky chappy, did bird for burglarising some owd duffer who died shortly after.

The English Disease = causing a bit of mischief.

The Italian Disease = carrying knives and jumping one bloke when there's six of them.

What Sunlun fans can't seem to grasp is that we are not actually the 15th best team in this league. We know we are are a totally different proposition from 1st half of season (and they aren't 2nd best side either their away form has been awful for some time)

On that performance IE was right with his now infamous comment-now we have to go out and prove that to the rest of the division. And to the IE doubters of our own. I'm backing them to do just that.

IMHO that yesterday wasn't a flash in the pan, with the offensive players we now have and keeping clean sheets the run had started before yesterday.  There is no team in this league and I include Wiggin that we can't beat. This team is now stacked with Evatt signings from last January and this January plus Santos & Jones. We are going to paste some others in this league im convinced.

Love it that IE was so low key as well after yesterday.  we are still nowhere near where we want to be!

Apparently Sunderland supporters club are making some complaint to the league about the treatment of their fans coins, bottles getting lobbed and police lashing out

from what I’ve seen on various videos both gave it few seats ripped out by them too

neil will be all over this

I think we've seen the last of away fans getting the full 5k.  They left a big no-mans land when we played Wigan, presumably to avoid what happened yesterday expecting a moody atmosphere.  They will now see that any game can turn moody even if its not against "rivals", can't see Sheff Wed getting the full allocation.

No reason sheff weds couldnt bring 5k now we have the membership scheme in place

Having the no mans land v wigan prevented nothing

3 wins ont bounce and one against a promotion chasing team might give us the momentum to turn our season around. Not only did we win, we fucking destroyed them. Evatt was right when he said this sort of result has been a long time coming with the way we play. Just no one expected it against Sunlun. The confidence that will give the players will be immense.

No reason we can't see similar scores to that from now till the end of the season. Whilst it was one of those days where everything went right (7 shots, 6 goals), it's clear to see this new formation is solid as fuck. We hunt in packs, swarm the opposition, win the ball back and break effectively.

Dapo and Charles could be one of the most formidable strike partnerships in the football league and it's come out of nowhere. How many years have we had impotent strikers? Suddenly a skilful winger and a 300k bargain are looking like Henry and Bergkamp up front.

We did it last season and I think it's a harder task this time round in a more competitive division but we should take that victory and use it as fuel to go on a run now and we could fly up the table. Everything is to play for. We may end this season as "the best team in the division."

Sitting in 14th means to reach the play offs we'll have to out-perform the results of 8 teams:

Accrington and Cambridge by 2 points with a game in hand over them. Piece of piss.

Portsmouth by 3 points but they have a game in hand over us. Fuck em. We're better.

Burton by 4 points, we have a game in hand over them. They're wank. Easily out do them.

Ipswich by 6 points and Sheffield by 8 points. Only requires 3 more wins than them from now until end of season.

Plymouth by 12 points and Oxford by 14 points. But have a game in hand on both. It's a big margin on paper but assuming we win our game in hand, it turns into 9pts and 11pts. So need to get 4 more wins than them both.

19 games remaining to better the team in the last playoff spot by 4 wins. It's so fucking on lads.

14 wins from 19 should get us into the playoffs.

20:1 to make play offs

66:1 to get promoted

Personally I think we are too far back and Fleetwood and Accrington are still in my memory bank , but of the bets above promotion looks better value.

I’ve took the 100/1… do I think we’ll do it no, but I’ll be happy if we even get close.

Did it not prevent the bottle throwing and stuff that went on in crazy corner yesterday? (by both sets of idiots).

Membership scheme was in place yesterday but it didn't stop all that stuff, if they ban a few of them fine but it will be a different set of nutters for each game.

Some Bolton traitorous red filth graffitied '0-6 Bolton Reds' on the bowling hut on Bobby Hayward's park.

They knocked it down eventually.

That's the type of shit that means folk from south Bolton/Farnworth/LL/LH environs will always despise the scum, but there's a special place in hell for Bolton born and bred filth, with no connection to Manchester apart from the number 36.

They also put 2:0 after the Coca Cola cup final against the wall pushers

You're normally positive Pete, I'm sure promotion was 150/1 last week.

Sneak into the Playoffs, bum Sunlan again then to Wembley...

Malcolm could do the maths I bet.

Is the Membership bollocks subject to discretion at the ticket office though? I've purchased my kids tickets (1 under 18 & 1 under 12) at the ticket office on matchday at every home game this season, and never once been asked for their details.

I got my kids tickets on the day like I always do, and once again there was no mention of the Membership Scheme, even though I have registered them.

Website Q&A has it that under 16s don’t need to register, if an adult (member) is buying tickets for them. So probably why you’re not getting asked each time.
