only1swanny Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Speaking to my daughter, about moving next season, We're in the west upper, it's pretty quiet tbh but got a decent view, close to the away fans and pretty much level with the 18 yard box. Anyone else sit up there? Is the atmosphere better in other parts, thinking of the East upper. Quote
Rudy Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Went to ESU and some old cunt told me to sit down when we almost scored so I threw him over the Side ESL best place in the gaff Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Love my spot in NSL. Noticed ESU has had a crazy corner increasing by the week! Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Just now, Mounts Kipper said: Not so good view of the first 2 goals though. Great view of it, the first one especially. Don’t forget from behind the goal you get a far better angle on whether a shot is ending up on target, even up the other end. Started in NSU when we first moved to the Reebok, moved downstairs in my teens and, bar a spell on the fringes of crazy corner in my late teens and the odd games in WSL, have been in NSL ever since. Each to their own 👍 Quote

Was alreet for a view, getting a pint, etc, but otherwise a bit dull When I go now I go in the corner of WSL and NSL Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Hate watching football from behind the goal, unless it’s an away day. Personally i’ve tried every stand in the ground & the ESL is by far the best place to be imo. Quote
radcliffe white Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Think we will relocate seems to be a group of mixed adults & kids who are constantly up & fucking down Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) For cup games and because of the topsy turvy stupid layout of the stadium on the ticket thing I've inadvertently bought a ticket and been polar opposite to where I normally am - I felt like I was on Ketamine. I dunno why/how as I had an ST for the ESL but I was in the South lower for the win over Liverpool when Deano scored, and for the St. Petersburg farce. South upper second game versus the scum - across the netting from the vermin. West upper a few times, West lower similar, the North both upper and lower are shite. Never been in the East upper. Riveting eh? Edited January 30, 2022 by Youri McAnespie Quote

Wullie Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I used to be in wsl, to the right of the away dugout, about half way up, great view Quote

Er, you’re behind the goal, he’s (hopefully) in line with the last defender, I reckon his view is better than yours. Quote
tomski Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I’m ESU now and love the little corner we in. Get a nice mix of atmosphere and space. Beer routine and space is all good. Quote

stevieb Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Crazy corner in ESL for many years. Mostly never going to my seat and watching in the ESLSC Last few years second row East Upper bang on the half way line. Best view in the house. West is shite. North is shite. South was shite when that used to be pay on the day. There's definitely an East Upper crazy corner developing now too. Quote
