If anyone feels threatened enough by this that they are considering changing their behaviour so they don't get thrown out, then it's done its job. If you're a normal fan who gets excited and calls the referee a cunt now and then, there really is no issue.

I’ve watched Bolton since 1966. I’ve never ever called anyone a cunt. If I was sat near you and you said that, I’d report you (under the new rules)

How do you feel about that?

So we have stewards and police on duty at every game. We have cctv linked to a police control unit, is all that failing to spot the missile throwers and those indulging in anti social behaviour. Honestly this is the most ridiculous idea ever and the person/ persons responsible for Wanderers One,don't understand what supporting a football club is all about.

I’ll take your word for it.

Is it the police, Stasi or Gestapo?

They’ll stick the cameras on the area wherever it’s reported, get footage and send stewards in if necessary. In effect, exactly the same as it is now if stewards report any issues (or likewise fans reporting via stewards).

In my experience, you can count on one hand how many times these things are actually used. Outside of our bubble of WWays and the cranks on Twitter, few others will have heard anything about it and even fewer will actually give a fuck.

I know it’s easier for me to offer this angle given I’ve worked in these circles for half of my life, but from the outside looking in I would suggest that GMP are presenting a few hoops to be jumped and FV are merely ensuring the club aren’t hit with an increased policing bill, particularly as I know in the past certain boxes have been completely ignored in the safety planning process etc.

What's it all about? What do you want to do that you think people might complain about?

The number of bans dished out recently would suggest they’ve got a reasonable strike rate of identifying offenders. Though personally I feel the retrospective approach isn’t as effective as going in and dragging out the ringleaders of the knobheads to set an example (should there be enough evidence of misdeamours there and then)

Whether you like it or not Neil Hart is here to stay, let’s get behind him and the lads and make the club a nice place to visit rather than the cauldron of racism and yobbery it has been of late. No issues from me

Fuck off Neil

I agree, it’s more of a box ticking exercise. Offenders can be identified and more likely ejected with cctv, stewards and police.

Since the introduction of Neil Hart he's managed to steer the club's values from -

"Old Fashioned Family Club, rising from the ashes. Together."

To

"A Bunch of Fucking Grasses."

No ta.

And from football fans to clients

I need to erase some foul language out of my repertoire. Not sure if just callous rumours but they’ve planted spies in the hotel and strategically around the upper tiers to target the menaces amongst us. Hear no evil, speak no evil.

Simple answer is for people to stop being dicks at the match.

No issue then.

The issue is actually what qualifies as being a dick.

Throwing stuff at players? Sure get em gone if you want.

Scrapping? Yeah, game has moved past it.

But what else are we talking about? A brief foray onto the pitch in jubilation? A few nasty words across the segregation?

There's culling a very small minority of dickheads, but there's also a large risk here of sanitising the match going experience entirely.

I’m sure one person’s idea of dickheadedness is another persons idea of exuberant fanaticism. As @Casino said earlier, if Neil Hart put out some guidance of what is or isn’t acceptable we’d perhaps be more comfortable with it. But I’ll be bollocksed if some snotty kid who likes to launch stuff at opposition keepers (and there was at least one such incident at Burton) fucks it up for the rest.

Agreed. Not sure how many times it needs rephrasing, the boundaries and expectations need to be clearly set out by the club and we'll see where it leaves us.

I am sure there is some daft rule that if you are reported to a steward then you get thrown out. This text line will make this work.

I know people are generally going to be ok but it won’t take much to stitch someone up.

the throwing bottles etc there are enough cameras to sort it so why not get it sorted.

this stinks of the trust and Auntie Sharon is in for a shock when she finds out the majority of the fan base are normal working folk and not delusional fucktards convinced they could buy the club on the cheap

Crazy Korner nowhere to be seen when 200 Sunlun lads are trying to get through the Police lines. That’s my issue with them. Neil needs to get a grip and toughen them up. No soft cunts who melt away to Maccies the moment someone actually wants it, rather than waving your arms in the ground, lobbing an empty bottle etc.

Crazy corner will be a thing of the past. Perhaps Neil Hart decided they’ve embarrassed the club agains Sunderland so should be banished around the ground.

Does gesticulating from the other side of a stream count?
